Were you referring to Repulsion's catalog? Because Napalm had many demos too.

Their FETO demo actually pre-dates Horrified buy a few months, but earlier albums from several bands have early grind elements also. It's all very interesting; either way Horrified is a cult classic today.

Bands usually will name influences & sometimes say a style they may consider themselves a part of, but it's the fans that typically come up with the genre's. For example I call Valiant Thorr Southern Thrash because they are heavily influenced by thrash metal and you can here their southern roots in their picking styles.

As for these guys I hear a little bit of Entombed in there. Good stuff
