Difference between 1 and 3 is this:

1: do a regular cascade but catch the ball higher

3: consecutive under arms throws while catching the ball higher

EUREKA! I made it!! Here's the trick:

Think of it this way: when you catch a ball, instead of throwing it to the other side you bring it in your hand to the other side and then you throw it straight up!

Remember to start bringing it to the other side AS SOON as you caught it, then it's fine!

i feel that the most important part of chops is to learn to throw a ball under your arm and the chop movement will come naturally.

For a while I just couldn't get around what was happening in this trick, until i read sumwhere else that this trick is just underarm throws every throw with exaggerated hand movements - I'd been juggling this pattern already for months but thought it looked ugly.

@Draitube I read the description, but I still don't get it. You do step 3 in step 1 - you catch the ball higher, bring it down, and then throw it. In step 3 you're doing something that I just can't figure out. I'm really confused

chops look better if you catch the ball from the top, palm facing down, and chop.

and in my opinion chops should be done with clubs only, it looks so much better.

i think this tutoriol over confuses the trick. isnt it just 3 ball cascade but you throw the ball under the other arm each time instead of normal. then just exaggerate the movement or am i wrong??

I don't think so... You physically move the ball diagonally downwards to the other side and then throw it strait up more or less.

On first viewing it I'd say the progress from step 2 to step 3 is not too clear.

But else your vids are cool and among the best, keep doing them! Btw I never found a shower in your vids - or did I just not look right?

Yeah, things like this with a lil' time

You should be able to juggle 3 balls for 50 catches (a random guess but that shouldn't be a problem)

Try catching the ball and raising it higher after!

I just can't get my head around them, around the action. It was like doing chops for the first time - I just couldn't get my hand to chop through the cascade properly. I'll keep trying. Maybe in a coupla days, I'll have got the basics. I can do windmill, inward cascade and columns too. Those were fairly easy.

So steps three and four? Are they a continuation of steps one and two, in that not only do you exaggerate your catch, but you then throw the other ball under the hand that has just caught it up high? Or are they seperate actions? I think I'm nearly there, but what I'm doing doesn't quite look right (and I can't keep everything in the air for too long.)
