I once saw a picture of Aretha at home, sitting at the piano. There was a tape recorder and what looked like, THOUSANDS of tapes scattered on top of the piano. I've never stolen anything in my life, but, boy would I love to have those tapes!!!!!

Why doesn't someone just sit the Queen down at the piano and cut an album like she used to on Atlantic? Aretha and Piano anyone?

Well i been thinking the same thing for the longest time.
If only Re had cut an unplugged album. Just her and the piano, singing some of the greats and new interpretations.
Woulda cleaned up at the grammies.
