  • Yep...!!! He's get it ALL ... the sex... the drive... the passion... and ... the sinister, seductive nature of this whole piece... and Yes... his tone, sound and color are AMAZING,,, but what sells me... is his DRAMA... One GREAT PIANIST!!!!

  • @1fattyfatman, This is certainly one of the most enjoyable recordings of it for me. Hamelin's other record of it is blood boiling, but this is more intellectually focused I think. Then there's also the great recording by Simon Barere that's worth checking out.
