She's fantastic! What a career and she continues to contribute on many levels. She deserves to be respected as one of the greats! Like Callas she is not for everyone! But look at the body of work. It's incredible!!
Never loved Scotto. Such an unpleasant ambitious voice.... Perhaps reflecting some of the personality. But skilful, of course. Except for the top notes (especially in her later career, like here).
Manuguerra is not bad here. Good professional. ;-)
Unless you know her personally you shouldn't judge. She happens to be a wonderful, sweet, and very supportive and loving woman. She also sings the hell out of this scene.

Per me una Diva. 25 anni fa e anche ora. E Abigaille e una delle sue ruole piu grande anche se non l'ha cantanto mai dal vivo. Bravissima la Scotto.
