@howiemccormick : Well That is the true essence of plyometri push-ups and calesthenics. Just when you think you are going to put out you don't but that is simply because calesthenics really work the core of the muscle. Ask a body builder to bust out 3 sets of 50 push ups with a 1-1 1/2 min rest in between sets...They'd probably. Keep it going. Next time someone makes a derogatory comment take them to the park and challenge them in a calesthenics circuit workout!
if you think that's a fail, you shouldn't be working out. 'getting tired' would be a better term, and it is part of the process we call 'exercise'. You fall flat on your face and break your nose--that's a fail. But even so it's all part of learning.
