Art, in its mystery gathers the different beauties together! But Tosca ... my mind can only think of you!"

i think people have misunderstood your comment.

to clarify: to one-up is an american slang expression meaning to do better than. The word ridiculous changes in meaning in spoken American English slang depending on how the vowels are stressed and on inflection.
