from my own experience of being both a heroin[still am.] and methamphetamine addict, I relate to this, as: you are Pretty when your High then feel so, so horribly Ugly when coming-down or just plain out sober,,just my humble opinion,..by the way; I'm not saying that this is the meaning....

i can barely watch this..

it makes me soo sad.

he must have been havinga really bad day

and people shooting things throughout this show was no help and only made things worse for him.

I bet this show contributed much to his depression before his death.

This song in my opinion is like his anthem and about his rise to fame. I think for a short time when he is up on stage he feels wanted and "pretty" but felt very ugly in his life (abused by his step father as a child, drug problems, etc.). He played this song beautifully.
