Bands like Sonic Youth, Mew, Muse are very inspirational. Radiohead is good. I remember covering one of their songs at a gig we had. I think we still might have footage. I always considered bands all part of the jigsaw puzzle. Comprise them together and pick out the best parts and make it your own. If that makes any sense.
