Man, if only the other ODST's in Halo 2, 3, and Reach could survive for longer than 7 minutes against a squad of Brutes and Grunts, and survive BY THEMSELVES, compared to a 4-man ODST squad dying within 5 minutes from falling from a Jetpack, getting stuck, or just acting stupid. It was one of the better halo games in my oppinion. i liked the graphics and gameplay alot better than most. i just wish they would have put a multiplayer into the game instead of slapping it together with the halo 3 multiplayer disk. back at the time this came out we needed a good halo game. and this game did it for us......for about a week lol. imo reach could have waited a little longer and they could have put alot more effort into this.

Halo 3 ODST should have just been an expansion of Halo 3. Then it would have been great. But all they did was port Halo 3 into a new world. That doesn't deserve to be called a new game.

@SPARTANB064 For the same reason you have iron sights on any gun, even if it has a scope or red dot....if your batteries go out or hardware malfunctions, you still need to be able to shoot accurately. And, as you said, because it looks cool. :)
