geez! this truck is priced a little high for a 2003 and for LS? what is so luxury about it?no power windows(which i prefer by the way) and no power locks? sure, nice truck, hell yeah, but not nice price. On Route 286 in Pennsylvania i work it a chevrolet/VW dealer and that truck should be priced right around 4,500 "Washingtons". i got a 02 s10 for $2000 with pwr locks and just like this 1 and it looks and runs great. and only has 7000 original miles too, i love it

damn they really changed the interior of a 2003 compared to the 98 the ignition nolong have those lips on it and its got a Impala double DIN stereo compared to the special 3 inch GM stereos that the 98 has

Also, these ZQ8 trucks already come lowered 2" (1.5" from suspension plus .5 from smaller tires) but looks likes it has been lowered even more

he forgot to mention the most important thing, Its a ZQ8 package! comes w/sport suspension: comes with a rear sway bar and a sport swaybar in front. front has softer coils and rear leafs springs are softer. this is the same thing as an s10 Xtreme but w/out the ground fx. these trucks ride like a car but handle like a sports car. Also the steering wheel box is different on these, it take less turns to make a u-turn. comes with 16" wheels and they are wider

Not worth the asking price.......after saving up for 3 years I finally bought my dream truck today....... 2000 S-10 LS Extended Cab .......it is perfect not a single bit of rust, only 63000 miles and its a 4x4........I payed $8000 inluding tax and title :) I love my truck

That's what a truck should be. No frills, no useless accessories, just a down-to-business piece of machinery. It saddens me that new trucks aren't even haulers, they're over-glorified cars with open trunks that can't even fit a standard sheet of plywood.

Can someone explain to me what the difference between the S-10 and the Silverado was? I'm guessing the engine choice since the Silverado came with a V8.

@carsaregood911 The S10 is no longer made [Coldorado took its place},it was a small-mid size truck. The Silverado is a full-size truck. the s10 came with either a 4 cly or V6, the Silverado a V6 or a bunch or V8s including diesels. also out-sold the S10. Hope that helps
