I disagree with that terminology.

The Master Shot is a wide angle still shot that takes in all of the movement in the room. Usually the shot in an opening scene or focused on an entire stage.

The shot in this video, where as it moves with a single subject would be called a steady cam shot.

The TV show SCRUBS used this method quite frequently and talked about it on their DVD extras.
