  • amazing footage.

    climbing there is hard!

loud as f!@$ and really sharp rock.

but wow! some of the best routes i've ever been on.

great vid and i'm feelin' the techno

  • The song makes me think of Chris Pontius for some reason. . . *rips off his pants and starts dancing against the gorge*

  • why do they always have to have lame techno beats for the background? Mark Twight could not jam or crank to this crap

  • el flaco fuerte

  • wicked route, unbreakable concentration - going for it holding ungodly crimpers. never ceases to impress me. Sleek technique, in tight to the wall. what's dave's wingspan, or is it just that pretty? Aye Carumba!

    lookin' tight, skinny!!

  • elwapbr,

this is not techno, this is progressive psytrance. but i agree, it just doesn't go well in a climbing video.

  • his resting holds are my nightmare holds!

  • incleible

  • 0:27 NOO THATS SICK!!! NOWAY NO NO NO NO :D cant belive this... =D FREAK!! (but a good one ;)

  • he is a freaking robot!!

    SHIKADING!

  • who the hell decided that techno makes good climbing music?

  • @elwapbr

I find certain classical music is far better. See John Adams' "Grand Pianola part I"

  • @elwapbr

Right! please put some davey graham originsl music to these , mr graham

  • crazy how sharma sent this when he was like 15 or something

  • sharma la encadenó a los 14

  • Yes, and he had only climbed for two years at that point.

Chilam Balam is in Spain, not the U.S.

  • That is rucking fidiculously hard.

  • this is the same rock whit chilan balan????

  • its a 14c..today there's plenty 14d's and 15a's, so no, this is not he hardest route by a long shot... still incredibly hard though, Daves an incredible cllimber.

  • No shit people! First off, I asked the question long before Jumbo Love was sent, what I was asking was whether it was the hardest in AMERICA. Because 10 years ago it was.

  • its not any more man

  • Due to the fact that I referenced Jumbo Love, it's quite obvious that I now know that.

  • does anyone know when he did the ascent???

  • awesome, such a cool route

  • Is this route still the hardest in America, or is there something harder now? Because atleast 10 years ago it was.

  • im pretty sure theres more harder routes

  • Do you know what they are? Or are you just another person with a baseless opinion?

  • Nah man... Jaws II is a proposed 5.15a and so is Flex Luthor

  • Thank you.

  • realization is 5.15a. Es Pontes isn't rated but based on how many times Sharma tried it, it is probably up there with realization and necessary evil.

  • espontas is 15b

  • I know there are other lines harder than necessary evil in parts of the world, I was wondering if it was till the hardest in the U.S. Which obviously it's not.

  • there are a few harder routes in Rumney, NH...such as "the fly" which is 9a.

  • the fly doesn't count. It's only six moves.

  • in rumney "Jaws" is now .15a (used to be 14b but some key crux holds broke - upgrading it)

  • lol there are lots of hard routes like jumbo love 15c

  • yea so you spit out the hardest
