darth vader has good reach and nice grasp combos, but try to mix the grab combos up cause using the same one gets tiring

This vid was made when the game came out. Both of the players are level 2 online.. that was about the highest there was at that time. :P So nobody really had a grasp of vader then. Otherwise I would have done better.

IE: His strengths are in his verticles, he has pickup force moves, only character other than cervantes with a projectile that reaches farther than his weapon.. I showed stun on force depletion. TBH, I don't find it stupid. Soul Calibur really doesn't have a good story by any means. And its characters tend to completely change (wtf, raphael is a vampire?) So I don't see why people are saying that Darth Vader and Yoda don't fit. Neither did link, spawn, or heihachi.. And their coverup was some portal to the SC world appeared. there wasn't HALF as much complaint about them, though..

yeah, TBH is to be honest. And- Heihachi is modern times. Spawn is modern as well, I mean, his axe is made from a cape. Also, no middle age theme exists. No real time theme exists at all, with a samurai, ninja alongside a medieval knight.. and a pirate.. and a monk.. o_O None of those match up. As far as looks, I don't think Ivy's costume matches anyone elses, really.. so..

Lol, as with any character, some of vader's moves are just quicker/easier to pull off or have a longer range and are safer.. as such, they are used far more often than his other moves. Not to mention, this is also played on the release day. Nobody really knew how to play him yet.

All of the starwars characters have a new bar, called the force bar (blue line right under the character's name, in this case that thin blue line under DARTH VADER) As you use force skills, that bar depletes, and if you use a force skill to either empty it, or while it's empty, you get stunned for a bit.
