My parents loved this song. My father is 74 and my mother is 69. The first rock song they heard on the radio here in Germany was Haley`s "rock around the clock". He`s called the father of Rock and Roll and opened the door for Elvis and all the others. Today Bill Haley would be 85. He already died on february 9, 1981 due to a fatal heart attack in Harlingen/Texas. Best wishes to you and keep on rockin`.

It's harmless when you listen to some of the shit today that encourages suicide and self-harm. Bill Haley would be rolling in his grave if he knew what 'rock'n'roll' means today.
