  • I agree with you that the thinker is a fabrication of mind. It has no reality. But your question about knowing and awareness is confusing. You didn't define what you meant by "knowing". Knowing could be defined as having intellectual knowledge. In fact, to know something is usually understood in this manner. He "knows" chemistry. She "knows" her math. Yada yada yada. If I was in that room, using "knowing" in this context, I would have said knowing requires thought, awareness doesn't.

  • makes sense

  • why doesnt it matter how/why you experienced a change in your vision in one eye for a couple weeks?

  • man! i saw one of your videos ..... I am not sure if you are really genuine. I thought you were...but then in one of your videos you were promoting what you do. Do you think Ramana Maharshi would do what you were doing? Please...

  • Show me one person who lives without fear, and so without limits, who accepts pain and fear of pain in all situations, and makes their decisions based on ...? Love, show me on person who is only love and not fear, one person who goes again and again to the places with the most fear, the most disaster to absorb it, as that person is only love.

  • Language is such a sloppy way of relating the profundity of your own experience to others. It's unfortunate how we have to carefully and intricately weave our words in such a way as to be understood by someone who is seeing things from an entirely different vantage point than our own. Not to mention the sheer number of languages on earth and the way the internet is shaping the way people communicate. It seems to me that we are evolving back toward a more natural telepathic state of oneness.

  • It's funny I've never seen you before. But this is the place where I am. There is only one certainty and that is thought. I think we mistake the physical work as being real and our life is real. We are just thoughts in a mind, a mind we will never see or know. We are all part of the one thought yet individual. So lets get on with it before the thought is gone.

  • he doesn't actually answer the question...

From my perspective it seems like this: thoughts arises and thinker arise by themselves, the pain that comes with thought arises by itself there is no one there.

there is no control, there is just the appearance of someone in pain and someone trying to get rid of the pain, trying to get rid of thought. thats stops when it stops...

    i dont know....meh

  • @saleri true

  • we do thought. it doesn't just happen. We make mind. It doesn't just happen. There is a Place of No-mind. There is a Place that is no-thought. Yes you can help this. We are responsible of thoughts. There is a Great Alternative to making this separative activity. We don't need to make thought unless it is necessary to do so. That Great Alternative is to contemplate Adi Da. Please read and listen to his Great Teaching regarding the self-contraction and realize That Place of Real God.

  • if you really want to live in The Place of No ego then find that Place that is Already the Case. Find That Prior Place. But you won't until you have realized that what you call you is divorced from God. Please read Adi Da. listen to His Great teachings and find this out.

  • thinker is thout thought is a thinker one must negate thought

  • I could understand that everyone sees the same object with a different perspective, but if I am allowed to be the devil's advocate for a while, couldn't we define normality as statistically what most people see as true? For example if everybody looks at a tree for example, wouldn't most people see the green leaves and the brown bark etc? And the one person who would see it as different colors and shape, wouldn't that person be wrong? Thank you for the wonderful videos!

  • Wisdom, knowledge without content, as information...spontaneous recognition in awareness, being...Glorious laughter, dear reflection!!!

  • Lovely!!!

  • Very good video!! That point that you brought up about how you saw things different when you covered up your good eye and then wondered how it would be if you always saw the world through the other eye is amazing. After a while, it would become "normal". But then you realize there is no normal! Everybody perceives things differently. I mean, even something as little as a shoe can be described a million different ways!! There is no definition!! It is what YOU make it. :)
