Regardless of the quality of the shinpan (I don't think any of us could do any better anyway, it's always easier to watch), I think the Korean player's attitude really stinks...
When Japan lost to the US there were some questionable points too, but they didn't give that shitty attitude while still standing infornt of the judges/opponent.
IMHO, the korean player deserves to lose this match just by his attitude..
I agree with the fact that there were questionable points not being scored by both players throughout the match.
but I respectfully disagree with the idea that "they are allowed to be pissed off with the judging quality and showing bad attitude in kendo is O.K " otherwise kendo would reduce to a mere sport.
I'm sure we've all scored points that we didn't deserve in a shiai, and likewise, have been scored upon with undeserved ippons, but that's no excuse for being disrespectful in kendo.
Lee se fait voler la finale ! il marque un superbe men (4"52) et le men accordé à Teramoto est plutôt "light" !!! Je comprends son geste d'écoeurement à la fin.
Pour moi, la Corée devrait être championne du monde !
what's the korean player's attitude? He shouldn't play kebdo!!!!!

Why wasn't that a score at :33 for the Korean player?

@aky733no1 Sorry. I disagree. There were too many points that were not rewarded. Anyone, regardless of nationalities would have been pissed.
They need a shinpan who is not of either nation + have a good eyesight.

Yeah, I don't agree with the point at the end. It was week men, and if it was given as kote, it's clearly not intended...
But anyways, enjoyed watching. More HD matches please!

@bluealbedo
You can tell by Teramoto's footwork that he intended to go for kote. I personally thought it was a clean point.

Thank you kendo-world for another high quality video. Its very educational to see this in HD.
May we see the entire slow-mo next time of teramoto hitting the men? not kote?

I thought that was a good kote in response to what appears to be a kote-nuki-do attempt.

The refereeing here reminds me of the final match; poor.
