This is sad to see. I was lucky to see Husker Du twice in the 80's, in Leeds and at Glastonbury, and they remain two of the best gigs I've ever seen. But this - geez - Grant, you're doin' your best and love that you are, but man, this isn't good :(
Realize that in Minneapolis, you see Grant at the record store, on the street, at shows, and he's played hundreds of his own shows there over the years, so there he's just part of the landscape.
@bociferousmimi I saw him in San Francisco in 2010, and he played a song that was quite sad, because it seemed to be addressing the frustration of being stuck in the heroin cycle and not being able to get out. He surely looks like he's currently strung out - or could be he's been on the methadone program. And it looks like he's lost some teeth, which looked pretty bad in the mid '90s. I think the dope has really had a negative effect on his career. jjjjjjjjjj
@Gilpow Naaaah, i think it fits perfectly. Its not kind of show that You can put in a concert hall. And sadly he's not in the best musical shape, but thats only my opinion.
@ Scrotemeister: this isn't good? What are you talking about? What happened is tragic but this is a very beautifull version. Whatever ...
