@BlaccBoii You need use Recboot to kick iPhone 3GS out of recovery mode and restore to stock iOS 4.1/4.2.1 depending what firmware you have on your iPhone 3GS. If you are on iOS 4.0.1 or lower than i would suggest use PwnageTool to restore custom 4.1 firmware with baseband preserved for unlock.

@oCHANCEo Did you start Redsn0w 0.9.6b5 in compatibility mode ?? if you are on Windows 7 or vista make sure to stat Redsn0w 0.9.6b5 in XP compatibility mode.

it would be wise to go to iOS 4.2.1 with Baseband 06.15.00.

P.S if its iOS 4.1 with some other baseband then there is not need to do baseband update thing.

It seemed to work fine except at last step it was taking over 30 min to reboot and i turned it of.
