Because it takes more time and effort to make a Captain S video than an AVGN video. AVGN only has to worry about himself and maybe one other guy because he makes his videos in his living room. Captain S they have to get a bunch of actors, they have to write a story, they have to find places where they can film, they have to schedule shooting around everybody's availability...

I actually thought the movie was really enjoyable. I can understand why the AVGN is censored (it is more in Captain S's world after all), and the humor still works well--he's sarcastic and negative. I did like the FFVII remark in there especially, lol.

I didn't think about this when I did my video, but has anyone read "Archie Meets the Punisher"? Yeah, that's right, there's a crossover comic between Archie. And The Punisher. There's no blood, or swearing, but it's actually a pretty funny comic, because it's so tounge-in-cheek considering the world of difference between the two franchises. Basically, what I'm saying is, this movie was like "Archie Meets The Punisher" (Take that however you will) and works for the very same reasons.
Long story short, the Nerd does not have to answer to anyone for what he chooses to do for the sake of an artist's idea that he likes. He probably resents his overexaggerative Nazi fanbase as much as his more rational fans do

I saw no difference between a censored Nerd and the uncensored version, because his sarcasm and rational negativity came through much better without the overexaggerative cussing. Yes, it's who the Nerd is most of the time, but that's HIS world. Not this. The comedy in keeping the Nerd from swearing is as ripe an idea as having him punk out S completly, and that was established with the censored "fuck"

Actually I kinda thought the first couple of Captain S episodes weren't that great, but then in like the last 5 episodes it actually got pretty interesting. On the other hand, both Captian S and AVGN are great gamers, the only problem is AVGN likes Nintendo, and Captain S likes Sega!

Ok, yes AVGN is awesome, but do I let my 9 yr old son watch him? well, yes, but don't tell his mom. On the other hand, Captain S is something I can allow him to watch and not have that guilty "I'm a horrible parent" aftertaste. (btw, my son loves Captain S.. the whole "blue wolf gets the kick" thing makes him laugh every time.)
