  • so is it a 1/8th or 1/4 track?

  • The Civic didn't start at the same time

  • Your hilarious!! Did you make that one up all by yourself?

  • si stands for shitty import

  • this is why i love my 18 yr old LT1(93' formula)123,000mi I/E CHIP 160 STAT EMPTY CATS and even with the 2;73's out back run consistant 13.80's and where are all these low 14 sec, stock SI's ? have raced a shit load and have NEVER lost to one.no disrespect to anyone(i'm 54 so not hating on you young bucks)but making some of these claims is like myself saying i'm running door to door with a ZO6.racing since 1975 back then in my 70 340 duster, have fun,be safe !!

  • HURRAY FOR HONDA AND THE BADASS VTEC!!!!!

  • @coltsfan7438 bet u wnt say that to no s2k guy....

  • wtf 10.6 in a si?? cant drive i ran 9.54 with a aem cold air and a apexi noir catback exhaust, i see little kids run mid tens all night long at mooresville drag waay because they ant drive worht a shit

  • @oheightSI Keep in mind, it's a parking lot, NOT a real track.

  • @oheightSI 9.5?..i run 10.20's driving the balls off my si...i know an intake and exhaust helps ...but not 6 tenths ..sorry

  • @thatDUDEoverTHERE010 haha well i ran against a guy like you who had headers also and he couldn't drive to save his life and he ran 10.20's all night long... I ran 9.54 at 78.668 mph since you don't know how to drive ill inform you how to improve your time but you may fuck up your axles doing this haha

leave the line at 4 grand and DONT DUMP THE CLUTCH feather it otherwise your gonna bog down... and when your going down the strip don't let of the gas... just power shift ... pussy

  • @thatDUDEoverTHERE010 oh and another thing the reason your running tens is probably because your shifting normal and letting of the gas pedal all the way.. every time you do this the drive by wire system takes forever to respond and you do this twice going down the track and it slows you down... Theres you .6 buddy.. mods were arm cold air with air straighteners, apex noir cat back and skunk 2 short shifter.. running in 60 degree weather at night

  • @oheightSI ran a 9.97 tonight...i never take my foot of the gas when i drag race...it stays to the floor

  • @thatDUDEoverTHERE010 haha well somewhere in those 9 something seconds i was doing something better you have your spare tire and all that shit removed?

  • @oheightSI spare tire was removed...had a full tank of gas ...and i had a bunch of random shit in my car....and its bone stock btw....gotta intake sittin in the shop right now...also out of pure awesomness i cut a .0000 light last night on sportsman tree

  • @thatDUDEoverTHERE010 haha hell yea well done well i was on a quarter tank of gas and if your gonna put any intake on it i highly recommend the aem cold air... not to loud and it actually gives som mid range and upper range power gains and makes the pedal more responsive. if you wanna make it run strong without making lots of modifications do what i did.. race header, cobb stage 2, exhaust, arm intake, launch control set at 3200.... ran amazing

  • @oheightSI put my intake on last night...its the K&N typhoon and it sounds amazing

  • look at me race a 35 and 37 and murder them...

  • @itsmillz See my channel vs racing other Si's at the track.

  • @MyRaceChannel So I looked and I couldn't find any videos aside from this one of you running an SI [myracechannel]. itsmillz nice runs; races from a dead stop are hard for hondas and esp SI's simply because we are torqueless- aside from the fact we aren't designed for a twist/time attack type of track rather than the 1/4 1/8 miles. I'd like to see the owner of this g35 race a k swapped hatch lmfao. it's a bit sad though- we put down 220whp w/ bolt ons and match up in 1/4 times...? lmao

  • @SSTGohanX Actually there is a K swapped CRX on slicks that I raced on one of my videos. I was catching up in the end of the 1/8 and trapped higher. Of course a bolt on K-series hatch can hang. It's The HP to weight ratio. If you want to bring other cars, bring your K-series swapped hatch vs our alcohol sipping drag car. Here's the thing. It doesn't have VTEC so you may have the advantage.

  • asi corren picadas asi maneja mi abuelo lokura deja de perder el tiempo

  • trash

  • RWD equals Right Wheel Drive

  • RWD = Right Wheel Drive

  • @vastdesign hahaha i rolld so hard

  • i have a civic si and i would much rahter have a g35 but cant afford it right now but sometime soon i will haha. i rock little dooche bags who cant drive in other si's all the time... my si has aem cold air and apexi noir catback exhuast ( not a fart can) and i run 9.56-9.60's all night long at mooresville dragway and another kid in a red one with aem cold air and skunk2 catback was running 10.5's all night hahaha

  • i agree with mediina...stupid civics...rwd v6 vs a fwd 4 banger...I'll take the G35 lol

  • what a waste of gas for the g35 lmao!

  • PS anyone in the "related videos" realize that there are videos of the SI beating the g35..lol...thought it was ironic from some of the comments on here..lol.

  • FAIL. Driver mod NOW.

  • Was this a 1/8 mile drag? Cuz my G goes into 4th in a 1/4

  • @vokadain It's pretty sad is what it is. My Base Model civic ex-l can run 10.2 in the 1/8th mile...which is exactly what is says. an 8th of a mile. it's a mini-race...basically. just makes the person feel like they are faster. my friends stock s2000 ran 9.1 in the 1/8th mile. my friends rsx-s ran mid 9's. my friends supercharged si ran high 8's...nor did he have traction for any gear. That's why most people don't like the SI. No traction for the power output. It's fast, though.

  • Civic Sis do 60 in 7.5ish seconds and 1/4 mile in about 15 seconds. G35s 6mt stock do 60 in about 5.7/8 seconds and 1/4 in low 14s. No way stock for stock would a Civic Si own a G.

  • um did u bother even researching the civic before u wrote that...... a stock civic si with a good driver can do 60 in 6.1 and 1/4 mile in low 14's, and thats stock

  • @fuzzy1119

    Stop fxxxing bullshitting, come on...

there's no way a little ricey ass civic can do 0-60 in 6.1 seconds and low 14's in 1/4......

That POS would be lucky to do low 15

  • p.s. Your "v-tec" engine's only got 197hp & 139lb/ft...... so pretty much it's got like 150 on front wheels... that's a complete SHIT :)

  • @Toronto350z 185 +/- to the wheels for the k20z3. FWD only is about 10% tranny loss. Depending on the year; the transmission also has issues. This is without any modifications. I find it funny how an SI get's the same time, minus/plus a few seconds than the g35 then, right? LMAO.

  • @SSTGohanX

Ahahahahaha, i love how all the ricey civic owner's believe 185whp at the front wheels is A LOT. NO, it's a shitbox, and shitbox. You drive a civic bro ;)

  • @Toronto350z milliseconds* typing fail.

  • Comment removed

  • @stevedhenning LOL first...i said BOTH the 1/4 and 1/8th. Aside from the SI driver in this video; a stock 06+ civic si with good track tires will clock mid to high 14's depending on a few variables. The g35 will clock low to mid 14's depending on a few variables [tires, too]. Mind you; the civic SI is front wheel drive, traction is bad at track because of this. So wait hold up.. 3.5L V-6 306BHP running 14's = fast. Yup...let me tell you, the 2L 4C 197BHP is worse, then lmfao. G35>world right?

  • Comment removed

  • @SSTGohanX Pretty sad. Now you're contradicting yourself. You must be a pretty big hippocrit. Half your comments on this page you say, "a stock civic si runs low 14's." Now you're saying they run mid to high 14's? To be honest, I don't even know what you're trying to argue at this point. A STOCK Honda Civic Si will run a 14.8 in the 1/4 AT BEST. G35>Honda Civic Si.

  • @stevedhenning LMFAO. okay...14 seconds for both cars; a few milliseconds off. 300hp v6 3l engine vs a 197hp 4-cylinder 2l engine. YUP SI is less than the g35...lmfao.

  • @stevedhenning PS: the funny part...is the fact that first YOU were saying 15's; now you're agreeing with 14's since you looked up the information. Most drivers get 14.6; others get 14,9 with stock tires/bad location...people with horrible location and stock tires and/or bad drivers [basically can't hold traction] get bad times [like the driver in this video]. The 1/8th mile should be a few milliseconds off, too. NOTHING major to brag about. maybe if it was 10 seconds in the 1/4 lmao.

  • you know that "afew miliseconds"= a FEW CAR LENGTHS right??

  • @SSTGohanX

there is a kid that posted a stock civic si going 14.1 on the 1/4. had to replay it a couple times for me to believe it. even tho i would still take a g over a civic.

  • @Toronto350z You must be retarded...LOL. The g35 is straight rice directly made in japan. The 8th Gen civic was assembled in canada. So technically speaking; it's not even a JDM car. Research and actually know what you're talking about, before you type. G35's stock are slow..just like an SI.

  • @fuzzy1119 no stock civic si will ever run low 14's in the 1/4. EVER.

  • @stevedhenning EVERY STOCK si runs low 14's..OF ALL YEARS. That's how Honda makes there Honda Civic SI. The s2000 runs High 13's. The RSX-S runs low 14's. Their sports cars were designed to achieve just around that range. Research.

  • @SSTGohanX

REALLLLY! wow, stop bullshitting, stock si can never run low 14's. STFU. civic Si's and RSX-S' are just pure shit-box. just shut your mouth and go to a ricer honda meeting.

  • @superspecialmaxican LOL you're seriously retarded aren't you. Go look up information. It's NOT A LOT. Neither is the piece of shit g35. That's why they both run, stock, 14's. If you don't believe it; youtube it...several of people EASILY get 14's stock. It's a common time..in fact it's basically the most common time for "sports cars"

  • @superspecialmaxican Oh you're 18 that's why you are bullshitting. Look up information. Normally people who get 15 seconds in the 1/4 mile in almost any sports car need a driver mod. Same with the 1/8th mile. The g35 guy in the video knows how to drive, the SI guy doesn't. The SI should have gotten mid to high 9's in the 1/8th of a mile. However, every car is different..and not every person knows how to drive.

  • @SSTGohanX WTF. Seriously? Are you high?

  • @MyRaceChannel lol...yeah, seriously. i own an SI and i can tell you in order to get a 10.6 not only do you have to be bone stock, but you also must not be shifting correctly. an SI in the 8th with header/intake/exhaust no reflash runs mid nights, and with reflash runs low 9's, with flashpro tune could run high 8's. with cams could run low 8's. there is a bolt on [i meant 06-2010] SI that runs 12 seconds in the 1/4 here on youtube. Research man lmfao.

  • @SSTGohanX LMFAO! "Every stock SI of all years". Are you high! I can guarantee you that not every single driver can get low 14's in a STOCK Si. since you said "ALL YEARS", show me a stock EG Si, EM Si, EP Si pulling low 14's STOCK. You'd better get off you Honda high horse. Don't bother erasing your comment either. I've also owned bolt on and tuned Si's in a bone stock G37 automatic which is another Si owners say they can beat bone stock. Post some of your own videos.

  • @MyRaceChannel "there is a bolt on [i meant 06-2010] SI" i clearly said that just re correcting myself. Nice reading. I am not talking about the driver- I'm talking about the car. The drivers your racing are probably shit. Aside from the fact that since you are in an auto, the other driver has to know how to drive- you..you just have to push down a gas pedal and hope you keep straight. Auto is good for drag racing when you don't have a lot of power. Admitted lol. However, you are racing shitty

  • @SSTGohanX shitty drivers*, in which case; sure...you will beat. It's like putting a tard with 0 coordination behind the wheel of a manual car, and putting you behind the wheel of an Auto. The auto doesn't take much "skill", per say- however it has an advantage of the fact that it will keep traction. The other drivers probably are on street tires, have heavy foots, launch wrong, shift in wrong areas, and probably even have never been to a track. Consider that before? lol.

  • @SSTGohanX I don't really care about your video "evidence" [myracechannel], if that's what you want to call it. 'Vtec' is seen in most of every car with dual cams lmfao...it's VVT. No offense or anything, but it's been power to weight ratio to begin with lol. how much whp are you putting down- how much are other SI's putting down. put a good driver paired up with your automatic g35 and i/h/e/flashpro and you would be even with them- if not then they would be faster lol. just imagine with cams.

  • @SSTGohanX mind you, i am strickly talking N/A 2006+ Civic SI's. I'm not talking about any other car- to state this again. Sure, I said what if you raced a k-swapped hatch [k20a2 or k20z3] and the build will crush yours; i'm not on a "high and mighty honda" whatever you said. I'm just telling you the truth. You're racing cars with bad drivers- you can shun the drivers' car [and the driver]..but not the car in general. lmfao. it's sad when a stock SI gets mid 10's...let alone one with bolt ons.

  • @SSTGohanX anyways i'm done lol. it's your choice to understand where i'm coming from, and the people who are reading this. you have already an advantage of over 100whp and auto- if the other car can't get traction, the driver can't really "drive" [which isn't that hard but people are pretty dumb lmao] and shift too slow/granny shift/at wrong rpm's, and launch incorrectly, chances are you will win by a long shot..however if an SI with bolt ons doesn't..it's pretty much even/faster with yours lol

  • @SSTGohanX Si Look on the 1/4 thread on the 8thgen forums. :)

  • @irishmexican21oc LOL. Go check out your information and make sure you have the correct engine..

  • honda civic's are fucking ugly and annoying

  • @blazzing4321

    I strongly agree.

  • @blazzing4321 Sounds pretty familiar.

  • The G is stock. Just an exhaust.

  • i said stock my friend

  • @foozooljalal hahahaha

  • more info please, timeslip? mods?

  • What year is your G35?

  • times?
