Also one for the most talented or higlight filled player on the team, this year it looks like it's either Brooks or Ariza (Brooks for skills, Ariza athleticism, Scola is productive but probably to bland for highlights). yep, let's cross our fingers and hope, though we do have a fairly talented young core of Brooks, Landry, Lowry, but talent alone I fear won't be enough, TMac had better come back with heart, or he will surely be packing his bags next summer...Even though he's my fav player him moving will probably benefit the team in salary cap and getting new players.
yeah 09 - 10 will be tough ... they also said it be rough for them to get to the playoffs without Yao in the 07 - 08 season but they managed that... almost all the analyst from ESPN, NBA, ABC basically everywhere said that the Rockets would not win more than a single game over the Lakers, much less without Yao, yet they managed that too....I've learned the Rockets are a resilient bunch which don't give up easily, so I have faith they will get far, let's just hope they do... ye but we had t-mac in 07-08, and alot of ppl believe t-mac will be traded soon, and i dont believe any other guys cept for brooks can put up huge points. ariza is still young and needs time to settle with the rockets, so its gonna be tough. =(

as for the Artest deal to the Lakers... I see him as a sellout... I remember he commented in one article that it felt good wot be on a winning team...like if the rockets were loser, we took the lakers to 7 games (only ones who did, even shorthanded), I really hope the Lakers lose next year badly, against anyone as long as they lose.
persianfoo remember sadly Mr. McGrady was out for surgery during this years run, shame the Rockets got out of the 1st round without him, if he would have been on the team at the time maybe the lakers series would have gone differently as the Rockets would have had someone who could create his own shot and someone the Lakers would have to double most likely.
Sure, but seriously. All I know is that T-mac is the greatest player to ever play as a houston rocket, and he is no doubt one of the top 5 greatest players to ever play this sport. When he was in his prime, he made kobe look like peanut and T-mac was an elephant. T-mac forever
thnx man... we proved to be playoff level team even without our allstars... if we can stay HEALTHY which is a huge factor every season... the rockets can easily go all the way... think about it we sweept the Magic this season... took the Lakers to 7 games even with injuries... and we gave the Cavs a beat down last time we meet... conclusion being that if they manage to stay healthy they can easily make it to the finals and have good odds of winning a championship :D ... GO RED!
