Hi shaunekah,, Anything you worship besides God and/or love more than God is an Idol and thus idolatry. That can be a Pastor, The Bible, Money, a Parent, a Spouse, a friend or anything else. Christians do not worship the cross. It is merely a symbol of what the one we worship Jesus Christ (Whom is God in the flesh), has done for us. The cross on my wall only has sentiment for me because it was the center floral piece for my Dads funeral. It is supposed to have flowers coming out of the center.

I am glad I have found this channel. My brother is deep in this stuff through the Wommack ministries. I can't get them to even talk to me. How do I reach them with the real word of GOD?

Hi gregoryscottsr, I can only suggest that you pray pray pray and study study study. Then the Lord can use you to reach your brother. It is tough having family in this stuff,, I know. But the last thing you want to do is let it spoil your relationship with the Lord. Keep the faith and keep your relationship with the Lord in good shape and things will work out. TAKE GOOD CARE!!!

I left the word of faith movement after I became self centered and carnal over the prosperity doctrine however I will point out there are plenty of believers in the movement just as their are believers in the Catholic church so if your going to put up a channel as such go ahead and put up an anti Catholic church channel

Amen!! We too have come out of, what we call the WoF morph. Although not directly tied to WoF the leaven still invades, same stuff different labels. We're just trying to figure out "where we go from here?" and we're not talking about a "church". To date we have pretty much gave up on that, but have a few others that are in the same boat as we are. Anyway God Bless you!

What Jesus Christ has done to make men right with God. DIE FOR OUR SINS thus satisfying God justice. Many try to define gift as something that is not free. But a Gift is a Gift. Many also try to define grace as something that is earned. But grace is unearned. Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith, no created thing in heaven or earth can snatch us out of his hands. That includes US. Once saved always saved (otherwise known as eternal security) is a deep subject as there is many verse that can be cited and the whole bible paints the picture of salvation as it really is,,, a divine rescue.

Simply put,,, we cannot save ourselves, nor can we keep ourselves saved. Once we are rescued from the wages of sin (death) we are saved. When Jesus said ,,it is finished. Our salvation was finished.
