As a Falcons fan, I GOTTA BE HONEST, Josh Freeman is the real deal!!! The entire Bucs team are young and they don't give a fuck about N-O-B-O-D-Y!! Props to them.......real talk. But the BEST play of the game, IMO, was the 3rd and twenty completion from Ryan to Roddy at 1:15. That moved the chains in a HUGE way and it allowed Ryan to connect with Jenkins for the td later in the drive. The coverage on both throws was DAMN GOOD, but the passes were PERFECT!

Wait till this season starts. The Bucs are going to be the biggest threat in the division. Bucs lost to the Falcons both games by a 7 point or less margin. Even after how everyone doubted that the Bucs will do terrible last season.

I just looked at their schedule from last year and you should too because 9 out of the 10 wins were against teams who didn't have winning records or teams who couldn't even figure out who their QB was! they even lost to detroit for crying outloud! but as I looked alot of their losses including this 1 and the previous falcons and bucs game were all close so they do fight hard! falcons going 13-3 was no fluke! they worked hard til 1 game(G.B.)

Yeah, we may have lost to the detroit lions but it still doesn't take away the fact that saints lost to seahawks and atlanta lost to green bay when it really mattered in the playoffs. Bucs could have easily been 12-4 but some QB decisions by freeman cost them a few games. But, itll be a even better Buc team next season.

You're actually comparing losing to the Lions to losing to the Super Bowl champs?

The Falcons could have easily been 15-1,having lost to Pittsburg on the road in overtime,and having lost to the Saints by three points(when it didn't matter)because of a Micheal Turner fumble on the 1 yeard line.

The NFC South is officially three teams deep now,and who knows what could even become of the Panthers with Cam Newton.

You can't compare Matt Ryan and Josh Freeman. Matt Ryan is more of a Manning/Brady type QB meaning he is more accurate overall which is why he has a better passing %. Freeman is more of a deep passer which is why his average yards per a pass is higher.
