@squid262 So long as you're playing single note stuff (not chords) you should be able to get it pretty close. It'll get pretty glitchy if you try to play more than one note, but otherwise it'll probably be fine. For an example of the glitchy stuff, check out my other videos entitled "Glitch Organ" ... pretty cool.
Correct me if I'm wrong .But if I buy a M9 , I also have to buy an expression pedal to use the effects (like wah) PLUS I can make loops (example: chord progressions) and play solo's over them? Thanks
@tastyciggarette Well, yes and no. You don't HAVE to buy one, but it sure does help. An expression pedal gives you wah & whammy functionality, but it also allows you to tweak nearly any parameter on any effect on the fly. My friend Brian (mynameizbrian) has several vids up where he does just that. Check 'em out!
And yes to the looper question. You can do that — very easily.
I was slightly on the fence to pick up the M9. But between the House passing a bill to undermine most of our economy and give me power, and watching this, I'm SOLD. I didn't know there was a whammy effect. You should get a royalty from Line 6.
Hey could the M9 do "My Iron Lung" kinda stuff?

what expression pedal was used for this dude? great sound!
AthanVai 2 years ago
Line 6 EX-1.
...I'm using an Ernie Ball 25k Volume pedal now though. MUCH sturdier (even though the EX-1 isn't too bad at all).

Does it track well for chords?
Ilovemyfender2 2 years ago
It's monophonic and not the best for that, no. :(
crxshdxmmy 2 years ago
Sounds like HOG to me then :/
Ilovemyfender2 2 years ago
I thought the HOG was pretty darn good at tracking chords??
crxshdxmmy 2 years ago
I meant that for chords i would rather get the HOG than the M9. Sorry for the confusion
Ilovemyfender2 2 years ago
Haha. Good plan! The HOG is one of my faves... Freeze/Gliss is just awesome.
