hyperventilating.... easily feels at beginning running towards beach on outset island and waving goodbye and then just pushing off the ground to meet up and fly with my friends amongst the clouds far above the ocean... EFF YOU REALITY
@MrFloppyFish cause they stayed on outset while link went off to find a new hyrule. look at the people standing on the beach in the cutscene where they're setting off, theyre there.
Easily the best song in the zelda franchise, though I wonder if there are any songs in skyward sword that stand out like this (I haven't played the game yet, I have to wait until christmas :(
@GhastlyOmega I didn't really find myself paying attention to the music in Skyward Sword like I do in other Zelda games. Still, It's a great game and definetely worth the wait.
Legend of Zelda is possibly my favorite game series ever
Hearing that skyward sword would be 100 hours and it'd be the hardest game since Zelda II, I was so happy I'd be able to get stuck in a Zelda game again!!!(Fun fact, that hasn't happened since stone tower temple on MM... on the N64...) Some say that the more you get stuck the less fun it is, but when you talk about a game like zelda, if you can't get stuck it's just... not the same...
@neoman289151 im playing through zelda 2 currently and its getting near the point of too frustratingly difficult, but i know exactly what you mean. I'm almost done every game in the series now.
@callum444121 Exactly, I mean, think about it as if you were IN the Zelda world, these temples were made for the sole purpose of testing anyone who entered them, so when you can breeze through it on your first play-through it's kinda like the temple designers didn't want to protect what they had locked inside it, whether it's a pearl, a pedestal to power the master sword, or even just a fused shadow/mirror shard.
aaaaaaaw this song is so beautiful and irish :DDDD YEAH. man sure fits for pirates :p still this the Credits song for Wind Waker is my favorite LoZ music of all time, so memorable ;)
This was the first real game I beat, and the first time I felt an emotional connection to the characters...Hearing this song the first time brought tears to my eyes. I felt incredibly fulfilled.
It's kinda neat how more recent Zelda themes have (by their scorer's admissions) had more of an ethnic approach to them. I believe that WW was based generally on Celtic music, while I read in Nintendo Power that they were shooting for a more Eastern European feel to Twilight Princess. I wonder what they'll go for next.
This is by far one of the best end credit themes ever. Every time I hear this song I can just picture going out and sailing the oceans of our world. I especially love the part around 3:00 it just holds such a powerful feeling to it.
Hey, peanut, i've got a request for some awesome video game music: Abandoned Castle from Castlevania: Curse of Darkness. It just an amazing piece, and it really fits for such a creepy environment.
This song also gives me that same feeling of melancholy I feel that I get when I listen to "To Far Away Times". You just completed a great game, it a time of victory, but now you can't truly feel the same emotion you got from your first playthrough.
At least you like Wind Waker. My friend HATES It. The only reason he hates it is because toon link is playable -_-. He thinks toon link is "gay" and he never gave the game a chance
@MrWalrusGuy2 Tell your friend to stop living in 2004. Seriously, people have gotten past the art style and realized how good this game is by now. He needs to grow up. Now, if he doesn't like Zelda games, that's a different story...though that would require not liking Zelda games.
So uplifting, especially when the strings come in at 1:06. I LOVE this game's music, and this is my favourite Zelda credits theme by far. I LOVE celtic music, bagpipes, harps, violins, flutes... simply breathtaking stuff, gives you such a good feeling. My favourite as to be the slower version of Medii's Prayer when she duets with the Earth Temple Sage, it's one of the most beautiful pieces of video game music I've ever heard.
Thanks again for uploading this, Peanut. I completely forgot what Wind Waker's credits music sounded like, and now i'm going to be remembering it for a long time to come. :D
This is actually more of the main theme of the game. It played during the credits, but also at the title screen and in trailers, I think. Despite that, this is an amazing song and reminds me of Makar's violin thing.
@DeedeeT3000 Huh... you're right. I wonder if that's an intentional reference or just an accident? Wind Waker does take place on Majora's Mask's side of the split timeline...
But anyway, this song is beautiful. That's really all there is to say on the matter!
@COlimar788 i dont want to start something to discuss a lot about BUT i thought its in the other timeline. because link disappears after you beat ganon and later on ganon comes back but noones there to defeat him this time so the gods think it would be a good idea to flood hyrule. and after that windwaker starts. or am i wrong?^^
either way i love this piece of music. its calming, yet happy and somehow sad because its at the end of the game meaning you finished it :(
Koji Kondo's work is amazing, but this is the figurative cherry on top of it all. By that, I mean his best piece, it's a beautiful rearrangement of the temple themes, Zelda's Lullaby, and the main theme of the series. just beautiful.
You described it beautifully. Although out of all the LoZ credits, I didn't like Wind Waker's. Most of the other ones I enjoyed because you got to see all the minor characters' stories wrapped up, here you just saw the cliched credits scroll.
