i just noticed something about this video....when the camera is turned away from MBC(on the crank part) the volume is exactly the same as when it is turned back in their(MBC) direction...it must have been REALLY loud b/c out of all the marching band recordings i've seen on here, when the camera is turned away from the band it sounds like the volume is turned down, but that's not the case here with MBC...it had to be amazing to here this in person....2's....

Imma tell you, Mo Brown had THE premier band back then. Fam and Southern were more widely known and more popular overall, but Morris Brown was the benchmark. I think they marched like 20 TUBAS...that's almost unheard of!
