Not sure what this is a response to, but most Ron Paul supporters don't fear the illuminati, or the anti-christ, or any other extreme claim by some of the supporters. We fear manipulative rich people fooling the child-like public like usual and continuing down a road that leads to the edge of a cliff.

Some fear the cliff is only a few steps away. Some fear we will step over the cliff after decades of stagnating economy and jobs market. Some fear our children will step over it.

In summary, a lot of RP supporters are just rational people that see the promises are not possible and the system is unsustainable.  We realize that if we don't change something soon, we could lose everything. If a new "world currency" becomes the dominant one, all our debts could be called in, and the universal credit card may not let us elect to increase the limit (debt ceiling).
