I attended the Pogofest in Waycross, Georgia back in October 1991. A bunch of out-of-state Pogo fans were there, including Walt Kelly's widow, Selby. One evening we had a showing of this movie and halfway through, everybody, including Mrs. Kelly, fell asleep.
Pogo is the perfect candidate for a Laika film, I think.
