Glock mags are polymer coated steel without indentations in the sides, although I can see how you could think that, as the baseplate grip is similar to that on the 26. What it looks like (note I have very little experience pistols besides glocks) is an XD Springfeild. They rival the glocks, and are similar in design, but have stamped, all metal magazines

Fun fact: People have been finding ways to kill people since the beginning of man kind. If we didn't have guns, People would die by knives,blunt objects. Banning guns because it "creates" violence IS THE STUPIDEST FUCKING SHIT I'VE EVER HEARD IN MY LIFE. I'm not a gun owner nor do I fire guns but you'd have to be a retard to think like that. If guns were banned. Criminals would have them and citizens would not. Thats bad. Quite honestly I'd rather get shot than stabbed/beat to death.

Law abiding citizens who own and operate firearms do so for one of several reasons, the most notable being as a form of self-DEFENSE. They are no more likely to shoot a cop than you are. The ones who ARE likely to shoot a cop are criminals who don't give a rat's ass about the law in the first place, so banning any type of weapon simply takes them out of the hands of law-abiding citizens, making them easier targets.

@dabomb1357 Perhaps because that's how criminals act down here? Criminals must be nicer in Canada, but down here, they only run away if you pose a threat to them; in other words, shoving a gun under their nose. If you look like you can hurt them, they will leave you alone, but if not, they won't have a problem robbing you, killing you, assaulting you, or just generally fucking up your day. On the plus side, that really only applies to the bad areas of a city, so knowing where they are is best.

Is $40 and a phone call to the bank worth someone, even a mugger, dieing? This is why I say the US has issues. @Daytonaman675 I never said it was likely, I simply pointed out that because bullets are designed first and foremost to kill people and explosive bullets simply do this more efficiently, putting them in the hands of civilians simply makes those worst case scenario's possible in the first place. I suggest you go up to a cop and ask them what they think about civilians having access to explosive rounds or 50 round mags.

@dabomb1357 I have taken several informal surveys of my areas law enforcement (I shoot with many of them). All of them see no problem with civilians owning up to and including a heavy machinegun. You see the awesome thing about LE is they can arrest you anywhere, and there are not many places you can pack an M2 or an m4.. Now exploding bullets were banned in the brady bill and as such are illegal. That settles the matter.

And tannerite only detonates with the impact of a high velocity round(or a BC). 45acp's don't travel anywhere near fast enough to even set off a tannerite detonation. All I know about what was used @ the time was that it was a ??"solid state"?? explosive? I have no idea what that meant. And I never did ask what was used, after he shot one @ his range. Sorry. :(

The chemical compound in tannerite only detonates with the impact of a HIGH VELOCITY(i can use capital letters too) round or a HIGH VELOCITY shock. A 45acp(what was used) is too slow.
