The ending may be unrealistic, but remember Hritiks character regains his energy by reciting the poem "Agneepath", which his father had previously taught him to give him strength. So metaphorically it wasnt unrealistic

The film makers say the Main lead actor only wears basic clothes in the film? Yet why is he in a bright white shirt and jeans? When the rest of the people are in normal Indian traditional/ or rag tag clothing?

This film looks rubbish. All sizzle and no steak

-even makers of new agneepth gave respects to old agneepth by not repeating the storyline and repeating persona played by amitabh and danny

and this move is certainly different to those movies that do not copy west movies - atleast they didn't had rap songs that do not make sence what so ever

Agneepath (1990) is a flop copy of Scarface.

Amitabh Baachan can never become Al Pacino and his imitation of Al Pacino's Tony Montana was a fail.

but Denny was a good villian as Kancha / Bollywood version of Sosa.

Hrithik Roshan can never become Amitabh Baachan & obviously Al Pacino and I am sure he is a fail version of Tony Montana.

but Sanjay Dutt as Kancha / Bollywood version of Sosa looks Epic monster like Kane.

But I will watch this copied movie because of Sanjay Dutt!!!

I'm really liking this new chapter in Hindi cinema. I like the fact that we're stepping away from fan-dom and hero-worshiping, rather focusing on actual cinema quality. Awesome cinematography, direction, and writing. I hope we can keep this ball rolling, and have a really amazing cinematic year of 2012.

Great movie, but ending was a little unrealistic. Sajay Dutt putt the sword through Hritik's stomach, not to mentioned the 2 other places he cut. How did he have the strength to FIGHT him AND hang him?

If you want to look it scientifically, there have been so many instances of physically weak mothers picking up extremely heavy objects, such as cars, during the time of duress. Adrenaline plays a huge part in that, and all of us have a survival instinct built into us. Your body can increase the strength of your muscle fibers two fold, or three fold when your life depends on it. You can parallel that to what Vijay's character does at the end of the film.

@diplomats101 The movie is supposed to be a ode to older indian films, where religion brought strength. They didn't expect modern indian audiences to understand, but in the 70s, everyone wanted to the hero to win after tough odds such as lots of bullet wounds.

Amitabh nailed the role of Vijay because he revised the character and experimented how vijay should speak and how his body language would be which was portrayed excellently.
