  • @SonicNeary Irrelevant... Are you getting the messages? Since weeks now, when i'm sending you a PM it doesn't say anything and i can't find it on "Sent",damn they were like 4 messages i'm not sure you got. O_O

  • @SonicNeary Well not really,it wasn't mine,i kept it like 2 days to install software on it. :D

I also had an HP Mini CQ10-500 over here,it had kinda more bassy speakers full of color in the midrange and they were lacking in the high frequencies.

Also the screen had crappy contrast and it was kinda purplish but compared to the oversatured colors of the Lenovo it was more accurate, though i enjoyed more Lenovo's screen as it was from colors to contrast and viewing angles sort of more "alive".

  • griekse lettertjes..

  • @negerauto123 Lol Ja,griekse toetsenbord. xD

  • ...

  • dunno how you managed to blow the speakers, coz my ears blew up instead of super annoying treble

  • @chrischoy9 Well,i can assure you that the speakers were the only thing that works on it now. xD

  • @truebassB xD suprised the speakers and sound cards were "dolby" certificated. Codec was "realtek"? dk, BTW mines S10-2

  • @chrischoy9 Yeah i think it had a Realtek,it's supposedly supporting Dolby Headphone which with the quality of the chip it has isn't that bright feature.

  • @truebassB dolby headphone and all other so called "enhancements" suck hard! the realtek hd audio chip in my 2 year old samsung nc10 netbook (with xp mce2005 sp3 and 2gb ram hehe) is amazingly clean and strong for onboard sound, better than even some desktop onboard sound chips :-O its so clean and strong it was the source unit that made my logitech z-2300 shake next door's pictures and my house's exterior brick wall :-) but after neighbour complaints ive sealed (yes really) the z-2300 subwoofer

  • @RWL2011 Those HD Realtecs are almost at the same level as a 3yo Creative.

I would agree with the enhancements that suck, they are totally useless and are there to ruin the signal, the best is to by pass all that junk including tone controls,i'm currently doing it with the Xonar Essence STX and on all the Amplifiers that can be set to Direct and everyone's happy.

  • I think my netbook must have been from when those chips first came out. they are very, very good! the sealed z-2300 sub sounded crap even for logitech, so the extended port is back on :-) tuned to 35hz again (40hz factory) but due to the fact the box is technically too small to be ported the bass peak is 5hz higher than tuning. so the peak with the factory port was 45hz, with the extended port its 40hz! (it's a 4 inch drainpipe connector hehe)
