  • @clarrisina Clarrisina Dear, thank you very much for your comment and continued support. Zejtun is one of our favourite places. We go there often and never get tired of visiting it. A fascinating place that is filled with great history. The buildings, the alleys, the historic chapels and the people too are very nice.

    Warm regards,

    Jasmine

  • Beautiful music Alfred ...thanks for sharing.

  • @BENNYMANS99 You're welcome Brian. They have some very beautiful hymns in that village of Zejtun and besides this feast, they organize other wonderful activities. Malta is filled with such celebrations.

  • Just khemm inzid li din hijja wahda minn 3 antifoni li iz zejtun gahdhna, Din ta nani u 2 ohra ta Carlo Diaconi, din tindaqq fgi gurnata tat tridu, il propja hija ta diacono

  • @mau10790 ta nani hija l-antifona tal-bambina tan-naxxar...manafx kif idoqquwa taz-zejtun...

  • good good

  • Thank you.

  • Thanks and glad you liked the video. Yes the antiphon is Paolo Nani's. O Santa Vergenella is by Diacono and it is an extremely beautiful hymn and the choir so smooth.

I think all have been listed accordingly at the end of the video.

  • Excellent video. The antiphon is Paolo Nani's one. Naxxar play the same one too but with different lyrics. Zejtun have a lot of antiphons in honour of Saint Catherine. The one which is most played is 'Prudens et Vigilans' composed by Maestro Diacono. It is very nice but differnet from Nani's one. The hymn at the end should by the oratorio/cantata that Diacono composed for the Circolo Santa Caterina (Tal-Lacci). Very nice indeed. Diacono was a genius, indeed.

  • Grazzi, David. Iva, I-Zejtun ghandhom Antifona u Innu sbieh immens. L-Antifona taghkom smajtha wkoll u naqbel mieghek li hi sabiha hafna wkoll.

Keep your eyes open for their next video about Zejtun history.

This will be their third one about Zejtun after they done St Gregory, St Catherine and next Zejtun History.

    Thanks Jasmine and Alfred

  • We did it with great joy, Tony and we want to sincerely thank you for the enormous cooperation and help you have given us.

Zejtun is a very quaint town with a truly Maltese character. Easy to get lost in it but the more one gets lost, the more s/he sees :))
