  • Chinnese Version???

There is a Chinnese version Of AK-47 too..

  • Could someone explain what open bolt means?

  • All the working parts are near the back when ready to fire the m16ns bolt is closed Aks is open

  • @zanuha Let me explain. In a closed bolt system the bolt is pulled back, and when you let go of it it slides forward and chambers a round.

With an open bolt, you pull it back and it stays back. Pulling the trigger releases the bolt, chambers a round and fires it. While slightly decreasing the accuracy of the gun, it makes it much less prone to overheating and jams. It's usually used for machine guns. Examples of open bolt weapons are the Mac 10s/11, M249 SAW, Thompson, and Sten guns.

    Cool.

    Thanks for the info.

  • I see so many of these videos in Japanese. They seem so interesting and thorough. I just don't know what the hell they are saying! I wish we could find a hero to translate.

  • damn it cant understand a word!

  • It looks like a tv infomertial. "CALL NOW and receive a SOPMOD kit, completely free of charge!"

  • hahha , ye it really seems that they want you to buy it haha

  • That's fucking hilarious!!!! LOOOOL!!!!!!!!

  • I hate to be a nitpicker but the M16 is not a LMG (light machine gun). It's more properly called a rifle, or an "assault rifle" if you're a member of the clueless media.

A light machine gun would be heavier, crew-served, and would have features like a bipod and quick barrel change. The M240 SAW and Bren Gun are examples of a LMG, not the M16.

    You've just been educated.

  • Just wondering, did you see the rifle near the end of the video?

While you're right, the weapon they're talking about at about 2:49 looks like some kind of failed LMG experiment. An AR that fires from a open bolt with a heavy barrel and foregrip...

  • No the M16 LMG variant is an LMG because it fires from an open bolt, has a machine gun barrel and a tripod and was designed to be used as a machine gun that could share lots of parts with other troops M16 rifles

  • an M16 is like a lego gun it can be fitted with tons of parts like the barrel, stock, sights, optional grenade launcher, C-MAG adapter and such. with the addition of a bipod and a carrying handle along with a heavy barrel, this becomes a light MG which can be later converted back into an assault rifle

  • jackass. light machine guns are not crew served. Their purpose is meant to make a machine gun that can be carried and not crew served. look at the mg36 a g36 made into an LMG. don't post shit that you haven't confirmed yourself arrogant jerk.

  • I wish all the video game armorers would stop making comments on YouTube. Clearly you missed the point of the video. LMGs do not have to be crew served. An assault rifle with a heavier barrel can also qualify as a LMG, in terms of what role it serves.

  • I agree with ReximFavor.. it is not a LMG (Light Machine Gun) it is a small Cal Assault rifle, it uses the 5.56mm nato round... an LMG is a fully automatic small to medium Cal bullet gun, usually carried by infantry, in my platoon the support gunner carries a M60e4 or "The Hog" that is an example of a LMG, a M16's role is for combat infantry have a greater advantage by the use of a burst/single or semi automatic weapon with a small Cal for better distance accuracy..

    i hope i could help...

  • M16 RULES GO USA

  • better than the inaccurate piece of shit terrorist used ak47

  • Theres a gun that was perfect out of the box and has been continuously messed with for 40 years and is still deproving.

  • I'm not sure about the M-16 A1, but I know that the carbine they showed for the M-16 A2 was an M-4 A3 or A4 (notice the removable carry handle with rear sights) and the shorter barrel, the M-16 A2 has permanent carry handle, and a 20 inch barrel..... LOL
