  • Radiohead...Class....Oasis Class, best single to come out of either band was Wonderwall, in my humble opinion, best album, tough one.....Whats the story morning glory. Best haircut...Liam Gallagher. Technically best band...Radiohead. Richest band....O

  • @Blueeyesblack81 Morning Glory is a hideously overrated pile of shit. It only has nine songs, for a start, one being a pedestrian effort based on a sample of a convicted pedophile's record ("Hello"), and another being a genuinely embarrassing effort with no redeeming qualities ("Hey Now"). "Roll With It" pretty much sucks balls as well.

Definitely Maybe was their only great album.

  • @andross637 Disagree pal, Whats the story morning glory will be remembered for as long as rock & roll exists. Definitely Maybe is a great album, most people consider it to be their best but I just like their second effort better. To call it a "pile of shit" aint right, Lady ga ga or Justin Bieber sure; but not Oasis. Heaven Chemistry and Dig Out Your Soul are great albums too. Slagging "Roll With It"....are you mad or are you mental!!!! Peace x

  • Metallica made this song the best.

  • Comparing Oasis to Radiohead is like comparing J.K Rowling to Dostoyevsky. Both are entertaining and classic, but the ladder pushes the limits of what can be done down to the very core of how you write a paragraph. In this case, how you compose music

  • this is fucken fake

  • best attempt of radiohead to ever make music.

  • It's always good to make fun of Oasis,,,,

    Gotta love Radiohead!:)

  • Lol @ people saying Oasis is better than Radiohead, that's pure dog shit coming out of their mouths

  • @sanguaneo You're posting on a public forum, so back your vagina up for just a minute. I'm well aware of what IMHO means. But if you call "I think this fact is true" an opinion, you can still be wrong. Who do you think YOU are? Get over yourself. It sounds nothing like Billy Corgan.

  • @C0NTR4l34ND Excuse me? I've said imho in my post not you. You've only said that I was wrong. For me you was wrong, but I don't claim it without any prove to that.

Hahahahaaa you're great! So when someone said "I think this fact is true" no one could disagree without being wrong? Woah. Sooo.. I think that what you had said isn't true. Isn't that a checkmate? How can you reply to this without deny your own words?

  • @C0NTR4l34ND Maybe you know what IMHO means but again you've said "It's sounds nothing like Billy Corgan." instead of "it's sounds nothing like Billy Corgan to me." pretending no one have different opinion from you 'cause you state the truth. Yes you state the truth BUT for you!

  • Oasis WILL NEVER....let me repeat myself, WILL NEVER EVER be as good or nowhere close to Radiohead.

    Nuff said.

  • Only Radiohead. :)

  • Oasis have nothing on Radiohead

  • Comment removed

  • If they weren't playing it for a laugh, this could be a really great cover.

  • Oasis > Radiohead

    Simple as that.

  • @Bucboy1001 Crocodile wants the bigger, better one, remember? First grade math?

  • @MrMrLemons Oh no, its definitely the bigger, better one, that it's favoring.

Oasis > Radiohead (for clarification purposes)

  • @Bucboy1001 Nope. Oasis has sold more albums. That's about it.

  • @MrMrLemons Nope. Oasis is the better band. That's about it.

  • @Bucboy1001 Nope. They are both awesome bands. That's about it.

  • @MrJamesBourne Yes. But Oasis is/was bigger and better than Radiohead. Plain and simple.

  • Comment removed

  • @Bucboy1001 I don't know, i prefer Oasis but i haven't listened to a whole lot of Radiohead aside from two albums. I think they are both awesome and that with such quality bands, deciding which is better is purely subjective.

It is not subjective when it comes to shit artists like Bieber, Black and Nickelback.

  • @MrJamesBourne Deciding your favorite band is purely subjective. Distinguishing the better band is quite simple. For example, the Beatles are better than Oasis, but I prefer listening to Oasis more than the Beatles. Simple as that. Oasis > Radiohead, that's a fact. But, because I'm an Oasis fan I'm going to be continually ostracized for being biased.

  • @Bucboy1001 very well then

  • @Bucboy1001 You're a bit of a douche marra.

  • @CharlieChewingGum You mad bro?

  • @Bucboy1001 Not at all, just wondering how you can justify Oasis being better than Radiohead as 'fact'?

  • Comment removed

  • @CharlieChewingGum Go on wikipedia and search awards and nominations for Oasis and Radiohead (wouldn't let me post the links). Look at Oasis' resume compared to Radiohead, its no contest. That's how I can justify it, I'm not trying to act like a naive fan boy. I like Radiohead as well, but its a fact Oasis is better. Doesn't mean Oasis has to be your favorite band now, I'm not saying that, like who you want, but Oasis is better.

  • @Bucboy1001 Awards mean nothing, talent is whats more important. The fact that Radiohead have actually changed since their first album says something. Oasis have always sounded the same to me.

  • @Bucboy1001 mate radiohead are/were/will always be on a different level to oashit

  • @vanhelsin328 I see what you did there. Any you're right, they are on a different level. One level below Oasis.

  • @Bucboy1001 mate no offence but.....comon, i mean oasis have been successful in writing a some catchy (but repetitive) pop songs, radiohead have explores completely different ways of doing music, i mean they went from ok computer which is possibly the best album of our time to making the best electronic album ive ever hear in Kid A, oasis just arent capable of doing that, they just dont have the talent, simple as.

  • @vanhelsin328 First off, why would Oasis want to make different music? They love the music they make in the first place. Second off, why would they want make an electronic album, of all music? "Capable" is irrelevant, they don't want to experiment, they like the music they make. And I'm sorry, but "some" catchy songs? Their debut Definitely Maybe and following album What's the Story Morning Glory are some of the best albums of all time.

  • @Bucboy1001 im not saying they should make electronic music, im just saying that radiohead have done what no other band, especially oasis, have been able to do. to go from what youd call a conventional 'rock' band to making competely different crazy ass shit and still have millions of people loving them. i used to love oasis when i was a kid, now i really cant see how anyone could justify them being better than radiohead, i mean how? pleas tell me

  • @vanhelsin328 I wouldn't even truly consider Radiohead a 'rock' band, nor put them and Oasis in the same genre of music. Maybe I'm just an old school rock kinda guy, and enjoy a guitar, bass, and drums as opposed to a machine spitting out beats. Takes the genuine feel of the music out. And I've already told above, their track record speaks for itself. 61 awards won, 132 nominations to Radiohead's 11 and 44. Oasis also won more awards on their first 2 albums than Radiohead's 11 altogether.

  • @Bucboy1001 music surely shouldn't be just about instruments, to say that only genuine music is stuff thats played with a guitar bass and drums is a little silly aint it?. you should know mate that awards mean shit all, take a look at some of the shitty chart artists that take home bags of awards, i guarantee that in 20 years time people will look back at Radiohead and see the impact that theyve had on music, and oasis will never be able to produce the live performance that radiohead can.

  • @vanhelsin328 Silly? not at all. It takes much more skill to hammer a riff out than to press a button in the studio. So it definitely makes it more genuine. I agree awards can be misleading, but seeing as they were won when music was still decent (90's) it's hard to argue against that. Today, rock acts are lucky to be mentioned in most award shows. And Oasis was one of the best live acts of its time. To degrade their live performances, shows a lack of knowledge on your part.

  • @Bucboy1001 'press a button in a studio'!? what are you talking about, you think the only way of making 'skilled' music is with instruments, that isnt silly thats fucking stupid. and radiohead have only properly affirmed there postition as one of the worlds best in the last 10 years (since ok computer came out basically), when they really havent payed much attention to awards, and yes oasis are very underwhelming live. I cant be bothered anoymore coz peeps will think im gay arguing this much x

  • @vanhelsin328 fight the good fight. lol

  • @Bucboy1001 playing a riff and knowing what riff to use are two different things, though, and unrelated to your skill of actually playing. my point is, you could construct something on a computer that could be brilliant and it's still a demonstration of great talent if you're expressing a coherent musical vision. Take Kanye West for example. Instrumental talent? No. Musical talent? Yes.

  • @Bucboy1001 I know it's a far stretch to Radiohead or Oasis, but I thought 'Heartless' and the Dark & Twisted Fantasy album were brilliant, yet a lot of it was probably done on a computer. Another analogy would be a poor writer coming up with a brilliant idea for a book and hiring someone to write it for/with him. Does that make the 'idea' any less brilliant? Thisiswhy I'm hesitant onwriting off dubstep/electronic types...because I don't fully 'understand'the supposed 'genius' of it.OrMaybecrap?

  • @Bucboy1001

That's two albums, all of the rest is just a reprise.

while Radiohead made EVERY album completly unique (well, except the first)

  • @RazorsharpLT Two amazing albums. Not to mention the greatest B-side compilation album,The Masterplan. The rest was hardly a reprise. And making an album unique from the last, I didn't know that was a requirement. Oasis is inspired by the some of the greatest rock acts of past decades. Tell me why they would ever want to make a jazz album or blues album or anything else for that matter. They don't have an identity crisis like most bands that think they have to create new personas for each album.

  • @Bucboy1001 Better than Radiohead? That's like saying Nickleback is Beatles of the 21st century.

  • Bisogna ridere? No, perchè sono ridicoli.

  • @WeedsRaw Yes, but they're not funny.

  • @WeedsRaw 1:03 that's answer your question?

  • πολυ πιο ωραιο παιγμενο απο τους radiohead!!!!

  • This is not the voice of Thom Yorke imho.. he seems like Billy Corgan to me.

  • @sanguaneo You'd be wrong then

  • @C0NTR4l34ND Then what? Bring me evidence and I'll believe you. Before that you can even tell that he is a rooster for what interests me or, at least, say that as your opinion not like a fact.

  • @sanguaneo I don't need 'evidence' when my ear can tell that it's not Billy Corgan. It's not my fault yours cannot.

  • @C0NTR4l34ND And I don't need your personal and opinable opinion, not asked for it anyway, when my ears tell that he seems Billy Corgan to me. Sorry that you don't know what IMHO stands for. You can ear what you want, I don't care, but you can't tell me that I'm wrong without proving that. Who do you think you are?

  • @sanguaneo And I will give you my opinion whether you ask for it or not, because that's how YouTube works. None of us asked for YOUR opinion, so what's the difference?

  • Comment removed

  • what does he say at the ending?

  • what does he say at the ending?

  • Anybody who thinks that radiohead is better than oasis.. are such morons.

  • @shenzhouon9 but they are?? its so painfully true that it should be a fact. Doesn't mean oasis is shit

  • ridiculous

  • wonderwall>creep

  • @otafuku16 Paranoid Android, WHOOOO!

  • pity the Bro's couldnt get on though!

  • Everyone here is being entirely close minded. The point of music was never to argue about who's greater than who or whatever. Everyone here may all be diehard Radiohead fans, but to factually present Oasis as shit or not as good as Radiohead or whoever you prefer is absurd. You guys honestly think people will agree on everything? The phrase "To Each Their Own" is what really defines music.

tl;dr Chill out and smoke/drink something, and quit arguing like bitches on a tight leash.

  • Sick fill by the guitar at 00:39

  • Lololololololololol, great

  • I am a huge, die-hard fan of both Radiohead and Oasis. I think this is funny cover. I don't really care if Radiohead hates Oasis, or if the Gallagher brothers hate each other. I love the music of both bands! and I love that the band members have their own quirky personalities. For example, Liam Gallagher with his hilarious weird behavior onstage and Colin Greenwood with his goofy hopping up and down while playing the bass... Both bands are fucking LEGENDS!!

  • Radiohead arn't in the same league as Oasis, they don't have any anthems like wonderwall

  • Comment removed

  • @betterthanfriedel what about creep?

  • @betterthanfriedel you daft? who cares if a band has "anthems" Radiohead are musically superior by far.

  • this is better than original

    and fuck oasis fanboys

  • dont get me wrong i love both bands, but if you wanna compare popularity to an outsider, they will only know radiohead as a band who sings creep. if you ask any outsider about oasis, there's champagne supernova, wonderwall, dont look back in anger, live forever.

both of the bands are different genres so how the fuck anyone can compare these two bands? honestly you are the ones that losing out to hate any of these two bands.

  • @theiboy Nope, they're the same genre. It's called "alternative rock." FAIL!

  • @Brian93TM the genre of alternative rock is so broad. go ahead and compare travis and coldplay with nirvana. come on you know what i meant right? do you need a thumbs up?

  • and all the gla aah nah nah eh to you are blinding

  • Musical taste is of course subjective , but Oasis are for fucking idiots .

  • oasis is more rock, end of discussion

  • "there are many ways that i would like to sing to you but i dont know how" lol

  • Alguien me traduce lo ultimo qe dicen en el video????

  • @thesupernovaa

solo dicen que a ellos les gusta bularse de Oasis

  • liam and noel gallagher are a bunch of mancunion twats!!!

  • "it's always good to make fun of oasis." /agree

  • Hillarious version ,I just luv it ! Radiohead are brilliant !! One of my favourite bands .

But what I don't understand it's why people keep argue about who's better Oasis or Radiohead ... It's kinda stupid , they are both very very good bands , with very good musicians in it .

Me I like them both very much , I went to see them both , and I kow what I talk obout .

Noel and Thom are very intelligent men . Radiohead are just makin funof the song , not attackin Oasis , d'you know what I mean ?

  • Lol i love this, Thom is hilarious

  • @jirdimaster I think too !

  • this is not thom yorke! its not radiohead

  • @fedemonsalve Yes it is !

  • i love radiohead xD god damnit, they're awesome xD

  • fake and gay

  • Fooock! who's that singing? - Thom? - Ed? - Colin? - Is it even Radiohead??

  • @MrBaebel Yeah , it's Radiohead ! Actually it's Thom who sings on it . :P

  • Pffft hahah he got the "BYYY NAAHHHWW" spot on 0:16

  • hehe funny :D

  • FAKE

  • -"It's abysmal (extremely bad; appalling) or what?"

    -"Yeah." -"Ok."

-"It's always good to make fun of Oasis."

    -"They don't bother."

    -"Yeah."

  • For everyone who thinks this is a serious cover should really think again...

  • yeah, they cover The Rip, Unreaven and then... "wonderwall" hahahaha

they would never cover a song like this. Not their style or level...

one thing i love about radiohead: even when they're not releasing new material, they keep surpring me

  • I'm so torn! Radiohead is my favorite band but Oasis is way up there. This cover just doesn't do the song any justice. He could at least have the lyrics in front of him!

  • @SmooshCakes It's quite well known that Radiohead hate oasis with a passion. They're mocking them here so don't take it seriously

  • @shunt007 Oh, in that case, I won't. Bravo, Radiohead.

  • you have to hand it to oasis... somehow thom sounds less annoying here than in the original recording. how do they do it

(i actually dont mean this as a rhetorical question...) what's the metaphorical meaning behind the word "wonderwall" anyway? maybe it is rhetorical but im gonna give oasis the benefit of the doubt here i guess

    "honey... you're my wonder wall!"

"...i don't think we should see eachother anymore..."

  • @MrThephonypope Its taken from a movie entitled "Wonderwall," released sometime in the 60's or 70's. The soundtrack was written by George Harrison. I haven't been able to get my hands on it, but I've read its about a man who lives next door to like an aerobics instructor or something and he has this whole in his wall that he uses to watch her through. Its supposed to represent a means of seeing all your fantasies or your dreams come true, something like that.

  • Fuckers

  • "I'd like to sing to you but I don't know how!"

Wow, Yorke just completely nailed how annoying and grating that voice is and how it completely craps on anyone's attempts to listen. Just when I thought I couldn't possibly hold Radiohead in higher esteem or more relate to their music, I find out they've been making fun of the overinflated Gallager egos too. xD Dammit I love them!

  • I wasted my time reading the comments.and,to stop the fights here is the truth :oasis are massive.radiohead are massive, too.oasis have sold more records than radiohead.that does not make them a better band.I love oasis.I love radiohead as well.this is a joke cover.thom said "it's fun to cover oasis, they don't bother".no hatred at all.

  • "And all nah nah bleh blah blah neh blinding" xD

  • From Q: "In 1995, while touring America in support of The Bends, Yorke would often sing mocking cover versions of Oasis songs. Indeed, for those willing to trawl through cyberspace, there exist bootleg MP3s of Yorke sneering Wonderwall with magnificent venom. It's an example of Radiohead's often-overlooked sense of humour."

  • Comment removed

  • Let's try this, Radiohead did this as a Joke, Oasis, Radiohead and Coldplay are all good bands?

  • @neilwilson557 You should be slapped for that comment

  • @redhotryan21 you should be shot for likeing radiohead

  • @neilwilson557 Lol, aww. The naivety.

  • @neilwilson557 well said mate. radiohead and coldplay are just boring depressing cunts. absolutly nothing on the oasis

  • they used to hate on oasis all the time.

  • HAHAHAHAH

  • Hilarious cover. Oasis are absolute idiots. They do make good music though, and I think you're all being way too harsh on them. Yes, Radiohead is an infinitely better band but that doesn't mean Oasis doesn't have some great songs and albums.

  • @schavira Eh... I would call Oasis thoroughly average. Decent at best, mediocre at worst.

  • @schavira Shut the fuck up Oasis is way better than sad bastard music Radiohead

  • hahaha merr ner na na blinding lol

  • this song totally describes me. it's the song of my life.

  • There's a reason Oasis has sold over 70 million records, and Radiohead has sold nearly half of it..

  • @akara86 What is your source on this? Because I'm pretty sure more people know Radiohead than Oasis.

    They should, at least.

  • @MercuryClock Haha, are you serious? You americans need to understand how big Oasis are in most parts of the world (except USA). They are bigger in Europe, South America and Asia than Radiohead (and they sold 14 million records just in the UK, I doubt that Radiohead has sold more than 5).

They are in guinness world record book for being the most successfull act from the UK 95 - 05 (and that includes Spice Girls, which were massive at they're time).

  • @MercuryClock Sorry I couldn't link to wikipedia from here, but you should look up the Oasis_band page there for sources.

  • @akara86 I like oasis don't get me wrong, but radiohead is on their own playing field. Having seen both live, I've seen people fall asleep at oasis concerts and radiohead is still to this day the best show I've ever seen.

  • @akara86 There's a reason why Radiohead will be remembered in 50 years, and Oasis wont be.

  • lol he's not even saying the lyrics :/

  • The guitar sounds just different...AMAZING!

  • lol... "there're many ways i'd like to sing to you, but i dont know how".... haaaaha.

  • and all the bbllllluuuhhhhheeehhhhuuuhhhhh to you are blinding....

  • not to mention karma police, idioteque, and just which sound completely different other than thoms voice have more hits than morning glory, wonderwall, the importance of being idle and champagne supernova

  • creep which was radioheads first hit is bigger than any of oasis ok and also radiohead only released seven albums but still has more fans than oasis on last.fm and also to note blur was always better than oasis and radiohead was a band since oasis and blur so.... shutup stuck up fans

  • my other point is, how many bands could do something like this to a radiohead song? none, cos all the songs are boring instantly forgettable. i think it says something that wonderwall( which is NOT oasis's only or best song by far) is known by everyone, even this miserable wanker

  • @watching181 if your point is that radiohead doesn't have anything good enough to be made fun of, i think you might be missing the point. Wonderwall isn't a bad song, and is incredibly popular. That doesn't mean it is better than Radiohead's stuff, only that it is more popular. Justin Bieber is mentioned more times on youtube than both of these bands. Is he better musically? Popularity doesn't say much about quality...

  • @Thundermonk99 Exactly.

  • Oasis is a band for people who aren't really that interested in music.

  • @Tiptup77 So true

  • That was horrible...seriously...In EVERY way. ugh!

  • he does a piss take cover of a song, because he wants to try to downgrade the song, because he's threatened by oasis? when did oasis ever do a cover of a radiohead song? they did'nt, cos the ginger fuck nugget isnt significant enough. american's stop commenting, when you can produce better than sum 41 and greenday, you will be acknowledged. around 2/3 of you argue that Radiohead are better, but tbf oasis fans will see the link and think "fuck that", @jamdodgeismyname1, shut up you virgin?

  • @joshiba13 Last time I checked Radiohead is a surviving good band of the 90's,which is a time period where the U.S was pumping out way more good music than England so dont think you have authority cause music is shit everywhere right now.Oasis broke up so they cant threaten anybody. They're being made fun of because they're an afwul band that was led by the stupidest most obnoxious assholes in rock.If you think desert forests music is better than Radiohead I don't respect anything you say.

  • @joshiba13 You do realize that Sum 41 is Canadian? Also, I'm assuming you don't listen to anything but the radio...so you'll obviously never hear any quality music coming from America...or anywhere for that matter. The best music here is spread through word of mouth, not radio play.

  • hahahaha

  • noel gallagher has written countless classics. before you argue, listen to more than just wonderwall please. slide away ,falling down, importance of being idle, cast no shadow , i could go on forever. yeah radiohead have written some great songs, but they are nothing on oasis

  • @watching181 incorrect

  • @watching181 haha yeah right. Thom yorke could shit on a guitar and it would sound better than anything those cocky douchebags called oasis have ever done.

  • @watching181 I just took your advice to listen to a song I hadnt heard, even though I know oasis is garbage music. slide away is an even worse song than do yknow what i mean!

  • for me this is radiohead's ultimate winning card on the oasis vs. radiohead debate.... in these 77 seconds they prove they are all individually better musicians than oasis, that these forgettable pop songs that oasis churn out can't even begin to compare to the masterpieces that radiohead create... and that they're so much fucking cooler than the gallaghers - who go out of their way to insult and put down any other band in sight. radiohead forever.

  • I HOPE THE GALLAGHERS ONE DAY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THEY'RE JUST BEATLESQUE PROXY PARODIES AND THEY DON'T EVEN REACH THE HEELS OF RADIOHEAD

  • good

  • i like more this version than the original LOL

  • It's a shame, because Oasis could have bben such a great band. But they over-use the 'wall of sound' tecnique and Liam exagerrates his accent WAY too much, which is bad because he actually has a really good voice.

Oh, and Radiohead are the best thing since unsliced bread =)

  • Who's the american guy at the end?

  • i actually like this cover too bad its a joke cover

  • thanks for this! i've often wondered what was said at the end of this parody. I'm a radiohead fan but i don't know what's so abysmal about oasis' version, i like it. and i like this version eventhough it's kinda mean: the way thom exaggerates the vocal style and the line that goes "there are many ways that i would like to sing to you but i don't know how." lol!
