  • hmmmm ok

  • Love your video!!! You are so great! I agree with the arthritis pains. I've been eating better, with little sugars or white flours and noticed them go away too. It's amazing arthritis can be caused by diet.

  • Milf ? :D

  • She looks like Arnie!!!

  • Looks are vastly overrated in American society.

Just because someone looks great, does not necessarily mean they are actually healthy.

My own mom looks amazing at the age of 66, and yet she is a fool when it comes to food and she has battled cancer, too. Nobody would think she’s not super healthy by just looking at her.

I also agree with a previous poster that the hair is a big part of looking "young", and so are the teeth!

She does look a bit like she’s had a nose job somewhere along the way.

  • PETA? What is PETA? That organization that killed thousands of animals?

  • I wonder what she looks like when she takes her teeth out and puts them in a tumbler before going to bed? ..stop that! .. pervert!!

  • Wow she looks amazing. The proof is in the pudding people!

  • I think part of it is her hair... she doesnt have that awful granny-short-perm lol

  • if i was paid to do granny porn i would high fuck her and only her!

  • I just ate a 10" pizza with scrammbled eggs. I feel old now

  • It's not veganism, it's MIMI. Otherwise every vegan at 72 would look just as 'young'

  • There surely is something about reducing cooked food and animal products. All the people that do it are much calmer and focused, not so irritated. I dont eat meat myself, but i do eat lots of sweets at times and i can compare how much better i feel eating healthily (im trying to get better at it :D). Everybody should at least TRY IT.

  • @TheButtonNose You should meet some 80/10/10 raw foodies. The ones I know are in constant overdrive and anything but calm and focused.

Possibly from all the sugars, but be careful jumping to conclusions!

There are people who traditionally eat lots of meat (Saami, Inuit, etc.), and I know massively calm and focused people who thrive on a traditional diet of local animal foods.

More important is to cut out overly refined, packaged foods. And stuff shipped from far away.

  • Mimi, you look beautiful.

  • quicksilver3x3 ...and why do you care what I focus on? And why are you someone who thinks they should tell me what to do? I could care less about their "stunts", more concerned about their "stats". Focus on something besides ME please, (and you can fuck off while you're doing it, I give you permission

  • @nschenk Why did you not post that so I would be notified? Not wanting a reply? It's quite obvious why... there's something quite wrong with you to attack someone with such foul crap for saying what I did to you. Thanks for exposing your kind further.

  • @nschenk 'and you can fuck off while you're doing it, I give you permission'.

Judging from ur comments, I believe any gracious soul who met ur sorry ass would think nothing of kicking it. You pathetic turd of a human motherfucker.

  • peta is a fraudulent organization.

  • PETA are a rich, hypocritical abuse of power and waste of space. They euthanize 98% of the animals they take in. I would not want an award from them, I would tell them to shove it.

  • @nschenk I don't like PETA's stunts or their use of wealth, but this woman is not responsible for them, and there are some other people that far more deserve all that wrath you people express against PETA, for instance: watch?v=n2KmVvgPkyc

Focus on something besides PETA, please.

  • @nschenk i don't like peta euthanise animals neither but;

    1) other shelters also do

    2) since people do not spay and neuter there are simply way too many stray and abused animals. i guess u volunteer to adopt them?

if not, ur no way better than peta especially if you also eat meat and use non-humanproducts

  • @nschenk it all depends on how they die. Torturing animals before/until they die is inhumane. Killing to eat is what a lot of animals do, but you won't see an animal torturing or raping one another. Only humans do that. (but the occasional spider will rape another spider)

  • GO MIMI!!! You are an inspiration!!

  • Is it safe to eat plants and become Clint Eastwood?

  • Comment removed

  • look up Ernestine Shepherd

  • This lady looks stunning and seems to be a happy person, but I do not think that it is due to her vegan diet. Although a healthy diet and lifestyle is definietly a bonus, in the end it all comes down to your genes. My grandpa turns 82 this year, looks like 60, eats nothing but meat (even refuses to eat salad as a side dish) and can go 30 miles on a bike. My Mom is a 50-year-old health freak and looks like 35. I eat normally and still have to show my ID on a regular basis although I'm nearly 27.

  • She probably just had a lot of operations done...

  • @Z47Z47T dude ! america has that woman who is 72 and looks good we have a bitch here in the netherlands who is 60 and fucking takes playboy photoshoots !

  • @Z47Z47T nope been proved totally operation free... She does however NOT eat crap like 3/4s of the rest

  • @coffee2bsmelt .In another video she said that she did have some kind of operation done. And I'm sure she's had many operations done.

  • @Z47Z47T Hey, don't be shy about it, provide us with that video or other source where it shows she's had "operations done." You're "sure," are you? Let's see. Except for her bleached hair at times, she looks and is very natural.

  • @quicksilver3x3 : /watch?v=9TR8FyZ75l4 - It wasn't that hard to find.

  • @Z47Z47T Sure was easy to find, so easy that I already had it in my playlist for a long time. She says very clearly at 0:32 in there that she's never had any plastic surgery done, has all her laugh lines etc. Are you insane, dishonest, or did you simply mis-hear her in there due to meat-fat clogging your ears? You meat people, wow, lol. Thanks for the laugh :-)

  • @quicksilver3x3 : I actually don't eat meat. My diet is vegan, except for the honey.

  • @Z47Z47T So, you're mostly vegan but hostile to Mimi Kirk for some reason... interesting. Oh well......

  • The only problem is that this vegan food thing is freakin expensive. The paradox of this is that i need to sell out to become healthy. The life itself is unhealthy, dammit. And i dont care its just a short trip.

  • @Aizverdurvis

It's not so much that the food is expensive, it's where you buy it from. A lot of vegans say to eat organic and organic food is expensive, you'll spend a boat-load of money in one shopping trip at Whole Foods.

  • Very very good.

  • Now that's beautiful :-) So exciTing~~~

    Go Veg:-))

    Vegetarians/ Vegans/ Raw/ Foodies~ Rock:-)

  • Fox News must have worked some photographic magic when they interviewed her as the 72-year-old who showed "no signs of aging."

  • Comment removed

  • i think its her personality that does the most good.

ppl age prematurely cause of stress and such.

happiness and loving yourself is more important.

ofc bad food ruins you also, but if you dont love yourself and you're life, no good food is gonna keep you alive. but happiness gonna keep you alive longer, even if you dont eat the best.

  • Muah, love you :)

  • I believe she hasnt had anything done. I also think that she looks amazing.

    The catty comments.... geeeze.

  • @lambchopxoxo They are just jealous...Let them bask in their jealously. I on the otherhand, will be partaking in the vegan lifestyle.

  • You can get B12 from Red Star nutritional yeast, dear! Good for you on your journey to non-violence towards animals all these years, it's like good health is a bonus for your kindness :)

  • having your teeth done well is a huge difference as she has had and face lift and botox and whatever, its ok and the veganism helps.

  • @facciaditosta she claims not to have had a botox or face lifts...can't you believe that?

  • Wow. It isawesome to know that we can reverse aging :) LOVE HER!

  • Totally agree with her about feeling better. I began to feel 50 at 30 years old. I really decided enough was enough and I just get more excited each meal and book or article I read. I try to balance it all for my health but it becomes so easy once you feel so good!

  • She looks and sounds like JZ Knight... aka Ramtha... lol

  • A lot of older Asian women look just like her or better at this age. It is not something unusual in our race...but surely she is beautiful for her age.

  • @TheCoolVegetarian

But attitude and inclination to behave in certain ways is related to genes, like violent tendencies, addictive behavior, and other emotional characteristics (which then in turn dictates how to perceive your "environment" and your attitude towards "diet and exercise". This study is a logical fallacy, not everyone will be strongly or weakly influenced by their genes, IT DEPENDS on the person.

Not all "suggestions" from "recent studies," are true, or make sense for that matter

  • Comment removed

  • @MsGeekomatic- Agreed, but thats why we're suppose to be thanking mother Earth and her plants and fruit before we eat. Connect with the environment and you will see all is one.

  • I applaud Mimi and agree on the diet- however- I have to add something here, because it has always bothered me: it has long been shown through various studies, that plants feel pain. Plants respond to music. Plants are actually living beings just as much as are humans & animals. The fact that we don't see them as that does not make the cutting of a plant any less of "taking a life" than any other form of the ending of that beings life...But because the plants are mute, the plants don't bleed...

  • @MsGeekomatic

Do plants have complex neuro-systems like mammals?

You're right, they're "living things" just like you and me, don't eat plants or any simple organisms. How are you going to survive as a human being?

  • @tueybooo My point being that people justify what they want to justify. All life is life- we have to consume something. Just don't delude yourself that one life form is more precious than another simply because it fits your personal concepts.

  • @MsGeekomatic What? Plants lack a nervous system to recognize and feel pain. The brain is a part of the central nervous system, thus plants do not feel pain in that way. Are you a woman or something?

  • @UncutTuts ~ Pain is defined as a signal of present or impending tissue damage affected by a harmful stimulus, and thus is experienced by almost all multicellular organisms. Your narrow view of what constitutes pain is similar to the views expressed about what constitutes or defines life. We will never discover "life" on other planets if we only look at it from our singular prospective. Open your mind.

  • @MsGeekomatic Ya I didn't look at it that way, harmful stimulus generates pain

  • She looks lovely, but more importantly she is a good person. & seems healthy, vibrant, cheerful. But what's with this 'sexy' obsession? I don't think that people over a certain age are sexy, nor should they try to be. Society places way too much importance on 'sexiness', and touting her as 'sexy' just cheapens the whole concept. She chose to be vegan/veg as a spiritual choice, and should be applauded for THAT. Health, intelligence, talent and morals are the most important things in the world.

  • @1981taryn well said!

  • @TheCoolVegetarian

Can you cite those study sources please?

  • Do you have any books on some of your vegan recipes?

  • my dad looks just as good and he still eats meat. He's 70. I'm a pescatarian...hopefully i'll get his genes haha.

  • @burning4rmwithin who knows.. lol yeah but now people eat a lot of meat, which is worse..

  • @TheCoolVegetarian Uh......

  • She looks like Elizabeth Shue!...which great because after 70 we usually start resembling only like raisins!

  • @ALucas73 But there isn't much 72 year olds that take no pills and have the energy to go travelling etc. Or any that could truthfully say they FEEL young.

  • This is what happens when you take advantage of your good genes by eating a healthy diet.

  • that is mental

  • White people are falling out. But if you saw the elders in my family (I'm black), you'd fall out. Black don't crack; and those southern negroes in my family eat hamhocks, chitlins, and all kinds of shit.

  • @TheDucciano they do .. when they get fat,. in order to get fat, eat a lot of shit.. and u'll see how fat u get ;p lol

  • @TheDucciano statistically you are in the lowest bracket for longevity, the highest bracket for diabetes and heart disease and the best chance of being killed by the hands of another person. That being said, I fuckin love hamhocks and chittlins.

  • @TheNykademos Might all be true, but because our culture's so used to its elders looking bad when they get old (because aspects of white gerontology are the norm and whites age differently than blacks) people are shocked that she doesn't look as she's supposed to (healthy). But in my opinion, she looks her age whereas my grandfather is her age and he looks like he's 52, and not in his early 70s.

  • @TheDucciano My nan just got married to a 50 year old. Shes 86 and poor so its not money. my mother people tell her she looks like shes in her late 30s and shes 60. And were swedish Irish prusian gypsy. So you cant say everyone is the same...

  • @TheDucciano racist motherfucker.

  • @TheDucciano I still rather be white.

  • @TheDucciano cool fam..so whats on your plate?

  • @TheDucciano L-O-FUCKING L!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • she is gorgeous

  • She looks her age. She's just got long hair that isn't grey. People underestimate how much the old lady short hair makes them look old. Women hit mid 40's and one by one they cut their hair. MISTAKE. Put your grandma's hair cut on her and she looks just like her.

  • @ALucas73 i agree on your cemment this is Bull

  • @ALucas73 I agree completely. Stop cutting your hair ladies!

  • She is ugly and doesnt look so young either............

  • Uh, she looks about her age. Take away the phony white teeth and the peroxide hair job and she looks just like any other fit 72 year old. The rest of you are either nuts or can't see much detail.

  • @machesterman83 jealous?

  • You look amazing, but more importantly you feel great.

  • Hunter-gatherers throughout history have always lived longer than societies that thrived on fruits and veggies. Genetics are key, also lifestyle, stress factors, natural environments, the air we breath and how we breath it are all factors in quality of life issues. I've known people who lived into their 90s that smoked and drank until the day they died. When your number is up, it's up! There's no secret for living longer. You can't take credit for something that God did. Ooops, I said God!

  • I'm here because I too deny that genetics are real... :\

  • people always say genetics this and genetics that, when you see a family where some are obese and some are thin your theory flies out of the window

  • okay she looks good for being 70, however she is NOT sexy. oh and BTW animal rights vegans, you can suck my DICK!

  • I am a vegetarian and I love I've been for almost two years now and their is nothing like. I am 39 years old and I run lots and lots of miles and workout and I feel no pain.

  • @TheCoolVegetarian With certain types of exercise, you can actually alter your genetics. It's pretty cool.

  • She hasn't been raw THAT long. The majority of her life she probably ate horribly. Yes she looks young but she lives young, which I believe keeps her young looking. She hangs out with younger people and stays active. In my opinion, without all that makeup, she looks her age. I know a guy who's nearly 80, he eats meat, butter, milk etc, but does eat very clean unprocessed food, and he looks younger than her...It about living young people.

  • @sb210yepperonie The descriptions of genes is a cop out explaination. Genes has nothing to do with how great a human is, and this is used to keep people from exploring their INNATE potential to be equal to everyone that's great. This word is used by those who don't want others to be "equal" to them. It is simply will and determination and fearlessness to demand what you want to be, have, and do.

  • Man is she a talker.... geez. That lady can talk alot!

  • She looks good. But to say she looks 35 ummm, well no. A lovely lady however.

  • Bull. We are omnivores and there is PROOF that vegans actually die YOUNGER than everyone else. Look it up, fools.

  • @LadyPashta Ha! Who came up with that? Your obese doctor? Your supplement seller? Whatever... it isnt true. The biggest diseases there are out there are caused by eating´or producing animal products! Look THAT up. Go out and try to hunt an animal with your bare hands. Such stupidity...

  • @LadyPashta

    Bullshit on both arguments.

  • Her sister is lucky to have her. I have an unbelievably cruel, TOXIC sister. Mimi is correct not only does your diet and exercise or genes matter but also having people you really love and who really love and treat you with respect. Thank god I have two amazing, sensitive and beautiful children to love.

  • she looks like shes 72 with a wig. you vegans are so silly

  • Personally, I think she looks her age.

  • @samanthamarrero23 YEAH! I got here from the the super Low-Q news footage, the lustrous hair did make a misleading 1st impression, now seeing this med-q vid, just bullshit, i know a 75yo that looks just like her, just with uncared hair..

Also, take a look at the old folks from Buena Vista Social Club, eating fatty and nearly raw bovine, and with lots of energy and disposition... The life styles and genotypes of humans are much too diverse to claim causation that arbitrarily

  • @samanthamarrero23 maybe a few years younger...I think it's her style and hair that makes people think she looks alot younger.

  • @samanthamarrero23 are you effing serious?? She looks like shes in her late 50s or 60s.

  • @samanthamarrero23 Thanks for sharing your opinion.

  • Wise and beautiful

  • @RosElisabeth I agree with you 100%

  • This has mostly to do with genetics, lifestyle is secondary. I've been a vegetarian for more than 20 years now (not "on and off" either, though never vegan) and admittedly I don't look my age (positively) in the manner in which people mean it, but again, more to do with genetics, lifestyle secondary. And the lifestyle has more to do with staying out of the sun, not drinking nor smoking nor taking drugs very often, getting a solid amount of sleep, keeping stress down, etc.

  • @StrictlyGentile Since one cannot control genetics, one can attempt and lead a healthy lifestyle... You are right, there are may factors that comprise a healthy lifestyle! :)

  • I want to try this..Sry for the dumb ? but if being vegan/vegetarian is better 4 us, then how come our ancestors didn't live longer? Was it because of the lack of health care then? I also heard that humans actually did not start off by eating meat, and in that case, wouldn't their average lifespan be longer regardless of healthcare and disease? & when we did start eating meat before it was processed like it is today, wouldn't they still have lived longer? Sry but if anyone knows please answer =)

  • @PiinkBunniie a valid question for sure. there are many reasons why life expectancy has improved over the centuries and most of that comes from water quality and disease control. although our ancestors had cleaner meats and dairy than we do today, they did not not have better general hygiene for bathing and washing people and dishes etc and once people got sick they did not have ways to quickly fix. anyways hope that helps.

  • @PiinkBunniie - humans have been eating meat since our caveman days - perhaps even before that point too. It's well documented thanks to cave paintings of hunts. And actually proof exists of cavemen being over 200 years old at the time of their death. In our early days we lived much longer than we do today - mainly thanks to cleaner air, less over-crowding and also thanks to the fact we didn't travel too far - so disease found it harder to spread from tribe to tribe.

  • Cavemen ate "Burnt Meat" of FREE animals running in open space & living naturally.

Back then there were very few fruits, nuts and vegetables. Today animals are raised in tiny cages and tortured. Today, there is Plenty of fruits, vegetables and nuts (Cheap).

There is no reason to eat Burnt meat of a cage-raised tortured factory animal (unless you are a SADIST & like torturing innocent beings. YBurnFood-com

  • @PiinkBunniie

eating a vegan/vegetarian its better for our health? u cannibal fuck!

  • @PiinkBunniie Actually our ancestors DID live longer. I'm not sure about any other "color", but Native Americans of the old times lived to 150+. There have been reports of humans living to 200 years. And this isn't a "special human", but a human under the "right" conditions. But this is directly connected to why we're living shorter. These "right conditions" are being intentionally taken away so that we're "forced" to live shorter lives.

  • @PiinkBunniie First, before we had health records, carbon dating stops at about 40 years old. If someone died at 70 years, Scientists mark them down as 40. We don't know how long people used to live. Also hunting and gathering societies have always had better health then farming due to disease and consistency in diet.

  • How do you replace the important minerals and vitamins that can usually only be gotten from eating meat and fish? I understand that some can be found in other things such as certain vegetables and fruit - but they usually turn out to be poor sources so a larger amount needs to be ingested to gain the same benefits from eating a small amount of meat. Personally I'm more for the "everything in moderation" mantra - balancing the amount of meat you eat with fresh fruit and vegetables.

  • @NothingButTheRoast check out the videos on this channel of several of the doctors who talk about how to thrive on a plant based diet

  • @TheCoolVegetarian - I certainly will check out your other videos, to fulfil my curiosity more than anything. Although I definitely see benefits to a vegetarian/vegan diet - I doubt I will be giving up meat any time soon .... I like the taste of it too much!

  • You Look soooooooooooooooooo good...

  • My name is Rafael Im 25 right now but I'm look like much more tan 30 . I like beef pork drugs alcohol sex and cigaretes ; ) but I respect vegetarians and I like to eat some of vegan meals with my girlfriend. We can live togother it's no problem think for normal people. Just ask yourself is real american hamburger better than Ocean healthy fish? All the Best for everyone

  • @ALIOSZACAPONE Thanks for being cool. to answer your question: i think fresh fruits and vegetables are better than both fish and burgers

  • oh wow she looks over 60 cause I swear her face has about same wrinkles as my 60 year old mother actually she has more wrinkles in her neck

  • @Hiide666 I do not think that wrinkles are necessarily an indicator of health, vitality and longevity

  • Even though I agree with mostly eating raw plant matter, this concept of not having to "take a life" to be healthy (like she said at the start) is a big misconception with Vegetarians. We need minerals in the form of a life, whether from the plant or animal kingdom. We can not assimilate nutrients in the state they're in in the dirt. We need them in an organic state. How someone could feel guilt over eating a fish just shows what a bunch of domesticated pussies we've all become.

  • @germanicelt there are several experts, authors and doctors who would disagree that we need to eat animals to get minerals. many of which i have interviewed for this channel

  • she looks 70 to me...

  • @keegandavidleon i very vibrant and fun energetic 70 *

  • I'm 37 and she look WAY BETTER than I do.

  • @TheGraceofChrist I am 37 too, but not a Vegan and I look younger than ALL 30 something Vegans I've seen on youtube.

  • @germanicelt That's encouraging because I'm having doubts about whether or not I can adopt this lifestyle.

  • @germanicelt whats your secret ?

  • @TheGraceofChrist you ca get there with diet, exercise, water etc...

  • 0:12

blonde hair makes anyone look younger sometimes i see women outside that i thought were like only in their 20s but find out they're like 30-50

cut her hair to bald and see if she looks young anymore

  • @kilkolio true... yet mimi has energy, attitude and fun on her side too which are all traits of the young

  • @TheCoolVegetarian

just as many old ppl i see on the gym, beach and mountain

  • @kilkolio That's not true. My kids and I are all vegans - I am 48 and both times in my life I tried to go blond I looked ancient. My eldest went blond at 14 and she looked ancient. SOME people look younger with blond hair. Some of us look younger with dark hair.... It's all down to her diet. Look at her skin and her neck - no blond hair would change that...

  • Vegetarians rule. Veganism rules. /watch?v=WWMnscY04AY

  • @haridham agreed !!! me veggie and vegan 22 years **

  • @TheCoolVegetarian Yes. Ive been veggie all my life 33 years. Havent died yet due to lack of protein. Check out my video./watch?v=WWMnscY04AY

  • Are there any recipes of raw vegan meals mimicking cooked ones?

  • @katula91 yes tons... see my website resource page for links and my store too

  • @Shrila1 Mimi is really Rawesome !

  • omg, this makes me wanna go raw NOW!

  • @kelleyjane07 Love it !

  • @kelleyjane07 Raw is War on meat. /watch?v=WWMnscY04AY

  • This is awesome and she looks GREAT! I love being vegan :D When she says raw does she mean vegan or by raw does she mean she buys absolutely no processed foods?

  • @NatalliaStile yes Mimi is a Raw Food Vegan as am I *

  • she looks fantastic

  • @MyUsername156 yup ! i wanna look that great when i am in my 70's !!

  • Gorgeous!!! Beautiful person inside too!!!

  • Buddha on the left ftw!

  • So she looks slightly more aged in this video than the last one I saw her in, but still she's clearly astonishingly healthy for her age (I remember a friend's grandma in her 70s who was overweight, terrible wrinkles, and arterial blockages to her brain! Barely walked!) I want to know: Does she dye her hair? I think I see grey roots...

  • @djifnf i think mimi looks great ! not sure about the hair *

  • There are definitely "younger" looking 70 year olds these days. But still very good going

  • the only thing that makes her look young is her hair tbh.......

  • @alittlewrm i think her energy and attitude is very inspiring compared to most 70 year olds

  • Its because none of them work, stress free life. Get a job hippies, and eat a fat tube steak. I would kill and eat dogs if they tasted good.
