  • hand check!!!...problem solved

  • Phil Jackson knows Jordan is better than Bryant in just about every way. But this is from 2008, and he was clearly being PC about he whole thing since he was coaching Bryant at the time. As Magic Johnson said, "There's Michael Jordan, and then there's the rest of us."

  • @rhiggins30 : phil has said several times jordan is the best player he's ever coached...even in 06 he said it. in 07 he said jordan would average 45 now

  • Jordan is still the best...in leadership, in TEAM player and a hero.. he controls the game and D' original airtime and a game winner moves.

  • somebody can be a real great basketball player but its still a TEAM sports...what is being a scoring, rebounding champions (not to mention no. of steals n assist) if your team sucks?

  • Kobe is the best for the last 10 years and MJ is the best in history.

  • Phil Jackson was smoking some good weed that day maybe he was in rotation with snoop dog and Kat Williams

  • Jordan's Clone is not as good as him Phil just prob didnt like Michael that much its cool but the truth is on the floor there will never be another Michael or anyone close to Michael

  • phil is not switching sides in the middle of the video. he agrees kobe has better basketball skills, but michael was better going to the hole because of his large hands, bigger vertical, and greater physical strength. when able to drive to the hole like michael did, field goal percentage is going to be a lot higher. kobe is a better jump shooter, has better footwork, and overall is a bit more skilled. if kobe had michael's hand size, his driving game would be almost as dominate as michael's

  • Kobe is the most skilled player I've seen in 30-plus years....Athletically, Jordan is superior, not to mention those hands and strong frame. However, I think Kobe is better in two areas: handle and footwork. Both were blessed with great balance (basis for all great athletes and what Lebron lacks), but Kobe's foot work is next level. In addition, Kobe's handle allows him to create shots when nothing's there: Portland in '06 from the corner--technically perfect. Jordan's footwork wasn't that good.

  • @kisswriters Are you trying to say Kobe's handle & footwork allowed him to create his own shot when nothing was there but MJ couldn't? MJ was stronger & had an easier time creating shots in the post.. MJ was more accurate from the post and he was better at cutting to the basket than Kobe. The only area Kobe has him beat is long range jump shooting but that wasn't MJ's game. I don't like either one but having watched them both plenty of times, I've got to admit that MJ was better.

  • @BigTimePride Kobe's handle is (almost) as good as Isiah's. Jordan's handle was subpar, and that's be kind. That handle plus his superior footwork allows Kobe to create shots Jordan couldn't even think of (e.g., corner 3-pointer against Portland in '05-'06). That move, plus the shot going down was technically perfect!!! Admittedly, Jordan had great footwork, INCREDIBLE!!! balance and otherworldly hops, but in a half-court setting, lane bogged down, little room to operate, give me Kobe.

  • @kisswriters Kobe does have a very good handle (agreed better than MJ), but he has nowhere near the ball handling skills of Isiah...Isiah is one of the greatest ball handlers of all time. As for footwork, I consider Kobe & MJ very close to equal in this area. Kobe may be a bit better in tight traffic (footwork) but MJ was a better athlete & would fly over 7 footers. MJ was the better finisher.

  • @BigTimePride Have you not seen the countless number of 7-footers Kobe has dunked on? And where the hell did Isiah come into the conversation?? lol... I hope he had better handles, considering he was a point guard, lol..

  • @thehiphopdepot Someone here mentioned that Kobe's ball handling skills were as good as Isiah's? That's why I commented about Isiah. Yes I've seen Kobe dunk on 7 footers, but not as consistently as Jordan did. Like I said, I never liked either one of them (Kobe/MJ) so I could care less which one is better because I'm not bias towards either one. Aside from long range jumpers & dribbling skills, MJ was better in every phase of the game on offense. I'd say their FT shooting & defense was equal

  • @kisswriters As for the corner 3 pointer against Portland, MJ didn't take those types of shots. In my opinion, that's one of the biggest things that seperates Kobe and MJ. I don't know how many countless times I've watched Kobe makes poor shot selections. Sure, he makes some next to impossible shots but he has missed a ton of shots due to poor decisions, which explains the 44% career shooting average and it's even lower in the playoffs. MJ shot 50 percent for his career (big difference).

  • @BigTimePride Jordan couldn't--take those kinds of shots. His handle was Terrible! Incredible balance, Jordan had. Handles or Kobe's footwork? Not in his dreams. Example: Watch Kobe do "pirouettes" w/the rock in 1st half of 2002 All-Star game; and how he "walked the dog" low to the ground w/the rock. Even that Adidas commercial when he dribbles the ball over his head, through his legs, posing on his toes a la Michael Jackson in the "Billie Jean" video. Otherworldly creativity

  • @BigTimePride As for Kobe's career 45% shooting, it's my biggest knock against him. He takes (and makes) some HORRIBLE shots. However, his percentage does not define or represent his game in totality. Blessed with the ability to get "makeable" looks in almost any situation has lead to his gunslinger mentality..."I can take and make any and all shots." Crazy, genius, maybe. Still, his handle and footwork are the closest I've seen to water--perfectly fluid, flexible and fierce

  • @kisswriters I was going back and forth with a guy earlier on here about the 4.3% FG% difference in their career totals, and the reason, I think, is quite simple,, MJ didn't shoot 3's, Kobe does.. Kobes taken 2397 more than MJ (making 837 more so far).. Mike is the best up to this point, dont get me wrong,, but he was primarily a 15 foot and in shooter (beastly at it I might add),, Kobe can knock down jumpers with MJ all day, best in the league for the past decade at it.. He just likes 3's

  • @thehiphopdepot I understand your reasoning behind Kobe's lower shooting percentage. MJ's 3 point shooting is underrated and underappreciated. Tiger Woods recounted a game of around the world he played with MJ at some point...MJ cleared the table and then switch to his left and cleared the table again. Remember that Jordan did set a record for the most 3 pointers made in half of a playoff game (although later broken by...you tell me and you win a cookie)

  • @Dreamewalker Jesus Shuttlesworth. I like Girl Scout Cookie thin-mints.. Everybody always brings up the Jordan vs Portland game, great game, game as in 1 game, out of thousands. Tiger told a cool story, but that stuff happens daily with any greta player. You can see hundreds of videos on here of players going insanely stupid from deep. We're not talking about what someone does while theyre hanging out with washed up golfers, we're talking about overall stats, not 1 game or hypotheticals. cookies

  • Jordan is an "Uncle Tom" who needed Phil's approval. Unlike Jordan, Kobe never sought validation from Phil. By contrast, Phil toyed with Jordan, mentally ("to get the best out of him"). Couldn't do that with Kobe. Worse yet, didn't have to do that with Kobe, but Phil never realized it. There's something to be said for a smart young man like Kobe, who plays the game because he loves it, not because he needs it. Basketball was all Jordan had to offer to the world, and he did that yesterday.

  • @kisswriters Translation: Kobe was a whiny little bitch the first 8 years of his career. Unbelievable that you are trying to construe that as something positive. Maybe they should hire Kurt Rambis as head coach again. Those were some glory days before Phil Jackson eh?

  • @pheeel17 I disagree: First, Kobe has always been a "fairly" reasonable person (not saying perfect); secondly, Phil's guidance of the early 2000s Lakers (Shaq's teams) was masterful, with this exception. Phil never tried to heal that "personal" rift between Kobe and Shaq, least not publicly. From day one, he "sided" with Shaq. Always thought Phil was shortsighted, in that regard. Sure, short-term, the Lakers had success; but those deep personal differences, even until this day, still exist.

  • @kisswriters I like how you describe the issues Kobe and Shaq had as a "rift" instead of saying it like how it is, which was two grown men acting like spoiled little brats, ranting to the press about each other instead of to each other like two adults. I don't take a side in their "rift", but as far as on the court, that was Shaq's team, as evidenced by 3 Finals MVPs and a regular season MVP. Kobe's attitude his first 8 years is why its still hard for non-Laker fans to like him

  • @pheeel17 Yeah, it started out a small fissure and ended with the levees breaking. Both Shaq and Kobe are to blame...but if I had to assign percentages, I'd say (for reasons I won't get into here) 65 percent Shaq and 35 percent Kobe...but I will say this, I knew their relationship was doomed in 2002, at the All-Star game. Jim Gray asked them to do play-by-play of the game, Kobe in Italian and Shaq as the analyst...right then, I knew it would end in a bloody mess

  • U just showed how high u are!!!

  • KOBE the GOAT fuck MJ!

  • Lol sounds like Phil was just trying to be nice. Phil pretty much explained it: jordan scored points to prove something to his rivals. Kobe scored to prove something to the whole world. Jordan was more sure of himself and he knew To conserve his energy. Kobe played like a mindless drone who wanted to be compared to mj. As for the skills thing, don't make me laugh. Jordan was a better post up player, interior player, better mid range, better rebounder, better defender, quicker, stronger,

  • fuck the skill everybody knows skill doesnt get rings n this league carmelo and lebron prove dat witout shaq, pau gasol, andrew bynum, even ron artest havin dat 20 point game in game 7 kobe prolly wud only have 1 ring other than hes gettin put out the playoffs n on the last ring kobe didnt even deserve the finals mvp people rele need to think bout wat they r sayin b4 they compare these 2 phil jackson even knos there is no comparison if u listen to the way he talkin he jus bein nice to kobe

  • I dnt even kno y they even compare this guy to jordan. y cuz he has 5 rings well magic has 5 oh he's the closet thing we seen to jordan yea right if u rele look at their career its no comparison u cnt make an argument about the 3 point bt then again u cnt jordan never felt he had to settle for 3s cuz he blew by everybody he said dat in an interview the closet thing we seen to jordan D rose n dwade wat i mean is da way they carry their team kobe doesnt do dat and

  • Kobe is the greatest period

  • i think kobe is better at defense, clutch situations, 3 pointers and mid range jumpshot, and just a tad better passer in my opinion.

  • @Thelakerfreak24 hell no is kobe better than jordan at defense and clutch situations. mj won defensive player of the year and was one of the best defenders of all time at his position. and as for clutch shots, look at all the gamewinners mj hit in the PLAYOFFS where it matters. kobe has what 2 playoff gamewinners? jordan was also all mid-range he was unstoppable. kobe's the best midrange player right now, but not better than jordan. kobe's only better at three pointers

  • Kobes the man

  • im a big jordan fan btw, but i reckon both players are good in their own ways .. i mean thats why they are being compared in the first place right?

  • Kobe, I think is more acrobatic, more nimble, and a better 3pt shooter. But Phil settled it with MJ's higher field goal %. Plus, Jordan was a better defensive player. And third, Jordan had more quality competition to contend with. Imagine Kobe dropping 81 points on any team in the 80s or early 90s. Yeah, I can't imagine it either.

  • There will never be another mj, at the same time there will never be another kobe bryant.

  • @jebose69 True that.

  • kobe has better footwork and postgame then mj i believe, but mj is the best

  • When Kobe went on that scoring tear, he only averaged 35 a game, MJ did that his fourth year in the league lmao.

  • JAJAJ! MJ IS THE BEST PLAYER OF ALL TIME, kobe doesn´t have the skills to solve the problems as Jordan, Lakers have Lost many games in the NBA europe tour, Michael has defeated best teams and players in his career think about it,

  • NOBODY IS LIKE MICHAEL JORDAN

  • This video is hilarious...first Phil agrees that Kobe has better basketball skills ...then he quickly does a 180 and proceeds to explain why MJ's better than Kobe in almost every single facet of the game...

  • @jwilson770 yea, by the end of the interview, you're kind of like "uh wait, so who are u saying is better?"

  • @jwilson770 He said it clearly: Jordan is better because he was a better athlete by far. His basketball skills were great too.

Even though Kobe has better basketball skills, his athleticism and endurance suck, especially the last 2 years.

  • @18kaipanw I agree with most of what you said but Kobe has great athleticism and endurance dude..He´s one of the few players in the league that plays all 82 games year in and year out and any player you ask will tell you he has the best work ethic in the league (just like Jordan in his prime)... You cant possibly expect him to be flying around like hes 25 after 15 years on his belt..

  • @jwilson770 he said kobe is a better shooter and is overall better skilled, but jordan was stronger, longer and had better hands and was capable of scoring over 50% FG while Kobe can't do that.

  • @jankobdd kobe isn't a better shooter either shooting MORE doesn't mean you're a great shooter if you're just chucking up bricks. phil simply had to give something to kobe to feed his ego. jordan fucking demolishes him in every way.

  • Kobe had Jordan vids to watch to learn all Jordan's skills and tricks he used in his later career. Jordan is the innovator and the best

  • i think its kinda disrespectful for phil to say kobe is better than jordan i mean cmon it was obviously for attention everybody knows that jordan scored 4,000 more points than kobe in 15 years and idk where he came up with kobe is better than jordan outside. i looked at micheal jordan in his prime and every single percentage was better than kobes. and even when he wasent in prime they were better then kobes in his prime.

  • @xBALLISLIFEx phil never said kobe's better than jordan phil didn't give kobe no props in this video

  • @xBALLISLIFEx

    Phil never said it

  • @Hawkhunter07

he said that kobe has more skills. phil is a dumbass

  • @xBALLISLIFEx Yeah I doubt you know more basketball then Phil does dumbass.

  • @rusty111fire

lol phil wasent even good at basketball and i never said that phil didint have any skills...... i said phil said that kobe has more skills than jordan which i called phil a dumbass cause obviously if he got way better stats he has more skills. so why did you even call my a dumbass when it wasent entended for you????? and if you disagreed why did you say something your obviously not gonna change my opinion

  • @xBALLISLIFEx holly shit learn how to spell. You clearly do not know what you are talking about

  • @babroncos11

lol anyone who is proven wrong goes to speelling jokes you havent said anything that led me to believe that kobe is better so get of kobes dick.

  • LOL, wtf is this interview? Phil basically is like "yeah, Kobe probably... uh, had, better... there are some things that michael had..." then goes on to talk about how Michael is better for the rest of the interview. Hahaha.

  • @bronx43 its out of respect, and understanding of the media and youtube idiots who take everything out of context. He coached them both, and so that people didn't say that he was claiming that Kobe was better, he spent his time defending Jordan.

  • Kobe is good, damn good, but I don't think there is any replacing Jordan.

  • look kobe is considered to be in the top 15 of the all time greats and to say that lebron is better than him thats just wrong cuz people dont even compare lebron to any alltime great

  • Kobe Bryant is a great player and will go down as one of the best all time. Michael Jordan is the greatest all time, the biggest reason i THINK is cause everyone said he couldn't and wouldn't win a championship without changing his game. He didn't change it either he just kept winning. Jordan had bad years early, but so did Kobe. Kobe had them early and later.

  • I just watch bruce blitzes 50 point game timeline by michael and I was a big ohhh kobe the best ever... but after watching all that 2 hour video its MIKE who was and alwase will be the best to ever play the game... just took me a while to realize it

  • "The shooting percentages were quite a bit different" LOL nice way of putting it phil, basically saying, kobe isnt on his level lol

  • @tonychoitellem

cool story bro, i could look up stats too.

  • don't compare jordan and bryant. michael jordan 6x nba champions, 6x nba finals mvp, 5x nba mvp, 10x scoring champion, 9× NBA All-Defensive First Team, 2× NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion and 3× NBA All-Star Game MVP . and kobe bryant 5× NBA Champion , 2× NBA Finals MVP , NBA Most Valuable Player (2008), 4× NBA All-Star Game MVP, NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion (1997),

  • WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS HOW CAN YOU COMPARE KOBE TO MJ THIS IS FUCKING RETARDED if kobe played mj in basket ball mj minus well be playing against a chair he is a very good b-ball player but your comparing him to a god of basket ball

  • Kobe Finals against Detroit >> Series FG 37% / 3pt 17%

Kobe Finals against Pacers >> Shaq scored 228pts, Kobe 78pts, (austin croshere out scored bryant)

Jordan never loses a championship! no shit, kobe 2x already that's a fact

  • Kevin Durants going to be the closest thing to Jordan the NBA will see. Not only because of the way he plays but how he acts.

  • Nobody is not even close to Michael Jordan. Very stupid comparison. I don't beleive anyone in the world is serious about this question. Just look the statistics, especially during playoffs.

  • michael has better brains

  • all i know is kobes the GOAT of this decade

  • @astigshad Hey, you can't say he's the greatest of all time of this decade. It doesn't work

  • @astigshad :what about shaq & duncan?....they had more success in the decade than kobe.

  • @imsljr420 bitch plz 5 rings two people can't have more success than one when one already owns half the decade. though shaq's pretty close

  • @xxBRossxx : i think the decade is only from 99-00 to 08 -09 season so the ring that LA got in 2010 doesn't count as part of the decade it counts for this next decade coming up (so in this decade only lakers & mavs have rings because this decade barely started) but last decade kobe only got one ring, shaq 3 & duncan 4 (even though parker got finals mvp that was duncan's team so he has 4...shaq & duncan have 3 finals mvp while kobe only got 1..shaq & kobe got 1 league mvp while duncan got 2.

  • @Legend1One : um no saying "EVERYONE KNOWS he was out right robbed on 3 of them" is down right retarded..........the only ones who THINK he deserved MVP for not making his team better just jacking up shots are the kobe dick riders like yourself...even regular kobe/lakers' fans know and say he didn't deserve MVP when they weren't getting a good enough record.

  • @TheGodOfBasketball1 : i don't either one was robbed....maybe jordan in 97 but mailman was a beast that year so he deserved it.

  • @imsljr420 I think Phil Jackson hit the nail on the head. Kobe may have better SKILLS but Jordan is still the better PLAYER and the GOAT. And all you people sayin Kobe is a shot jacker (which he's not) if you really remember Jordans games from his bulls years I saw a good amount of games where he would shoot 4/17 11/33 and even 1998 Finals in Mjs last game vs. Jazz he shot horribly. So fuck the biased shit. But when the game was on the line the GOAT put the dagger in the Jazz. So MJ all day.

  • @oneindachamber this would be a fair assessment....I'm a Kobe fan to the core, but I saw Jordan play during his entire career, I had all of Jordan's Wheaties posters taped to my wall for inspiration...lollll...from the sheer magnitude of his game and how he has influenced 2 generations of ball players, Jordan remains the greatest ever, but when you talk about skill set, Kobe has it, and he has 5 rings, best player of the past decade, and for me, one of the top 5 greatest players ever to play

  • @oneindachamber michael jordan said himself that Kobe was a more advanced basketball player at 19 years old than he was at the same age, that was said by Jordan himself, that speaks volumes......Kobe's skill set is off the charts....Jordan has never said that about any other player, including Lebron James....

  • @scorpionJB Agreed.

  • id like to see kobe score 50 at age 38 like michael did. michel had better physical talents but also skill id say

  • @airWarriormixes What separates MJ and Kobe is there mental game. Kobe is very mentally tough but MJ is mentally stronger then any athlete in team sports

  • Comment removed

  • @60D550N23 The league is NOT better now. it's more athletic, but not better. There's more show off, more posturing, ankle breaking -- but less poise, discipline, fundamentals.

  • if you watch kobe do he's game he's moves is as good as mj's moves

  • Kobe... is the ONLY one that has come close to

    Jordan since Jordan.

    ENOUGH SAID!!!

  • Phil Jackson is a politically correct 2 faced whore!!

  • I dont even know why i clicked on this its pretty obvious...

  • WHO BETTER THAN PHIL JACKSON HIMSELF ADMITTING MJ BETTER THAN KOBE! NUFF SAID !!

  • they shouldnt even be compard did they name kobe basketball king NO did they make a statue of kobe NO jordans the best

  • MJ's in a level where Kobe can never reach it

  • Phil just didn't want to out right say MJ was better bc he was coaching Kobe at the time, it would be disrespectful and tasteless to do so. But judging by his comments you can tell he felt STRONGLY that MJ was better. He tried very hard to make a case for 3 point shooting on Kobe's behalf but that was it. lol

  • why is this question even relevant, even a laker fan like me will tell you that mj is on another level... kobe is probably top 15-20 of all time.

  • @tonychoitellem

Also Kobe is no MJ, we all know that but to say the 2nd greatest SG of all time barley cracks the top 20 all time list is down right absurd. Kobe without question is a top 10 all time player. I'd put him around the 7th or 8th spot.

  • @Kingjd87 lol in no way is kobe in top 10, maybe if he wins 1 more ring then yes. but as for more, he'll stay in my top 20.

  • @tonychoitellem I'd love to hear you name 10 players better than Kobe.

  • @mcriswel1 jordan, magic, bird, kareem, russell, wilt, shaq, hakeem, oscar, jerry west. i know a couple more but just cant think of them. no doubt kobe is a top 3 sg but top 10 of all time, not yet. maybe if he wins 1 more chip.

  • @tonychoitelle Many have said Kobe is the best Laker of all time. I don't see how you can put hakeem, kareem, oscar, or west above him. West even called him the best laker of all time.

  • @mcriswel1 and west also said lebrons better then kobe and im 100% sure that you disagree with that. legends play better in bigger games, kobe has yet to prove himself in the POs. he has never really completely taken over a series like mj or shaq or even hakeem has. im not hating on kobe, but theres no way hes a top 10 player right now.

  • @mcriswel1 Playoff series against common opponents: vs 2009 Magic

    LeBron James: 38.5ppg 8.3reb 8.0ast 75 48.7%fg

    Kobe Bryant: 32.4ppg 5.6reb 7.4ast 58 42.9%fg

    vs 2010 Celtics

    LeBron James: 26.8ppg 9.3reb 7.2ast 44.7%fg

    Kobe Bryant: 28.6ppg 8.0reb 3.9ast 40.5%fg

(worst shooting % for a Finals MVP)

  • @mcriswel1 so i guess bill russell is better then wilt bcuz wilt lost to the celtics everytime?

  • @mcriswel1 thats ok by me how ur saying lebron isnt near kobe juz like how kobe isnt near top 10

  • @tonychoitellem numbers aren't everything

  • @stlouie16 what is?

  • @tonychoitellem ability to lead your team to a victory through skill, basketball iq, and work ethic on and off the court that can't be put into statistic form. in other words, greatness

  • Comment removed

  • @tonychoitellem

and yet even MJ says kobe is better huh his FG % went down due to that horrible shooting game 7

oh and yeah leborn 8 points in the finals game where the heat would of went up 3-1 lol

and heart and determination cant be put on stats retard

  • @The8310353 u know what else mj did? draft kwame brown. being a good player doesnt mean u are a great observer. how many great coaches in the game u know thats been great players. even if kobe didnt shoot 6-24 in game 7 he wudve still averaged 28pts off of 44% shooting. juz bcuz mj says something u dont have to believe it. heart and determination can mean nothing if u dont have the talent to keep up with it.

  • @tonychoitellem

ha kobe is like the most skilled player to ever play the game lol your saying kobe doesnt have enough talent? you just burnt yourself there haha.. okkay do you think MJ would pick kwame brown now that he played in the nba? no! he seen kobe and played agianst him lol and i dont care about those stats because i saw the series and kobe won it for us and kept the laker mentality up by not letting the celtics blowe em out in game 5,

  • @The8310353 why not pass the ball to the most efficient scorer on ur team when u cud. the pistons didnt shut down shaq at all. but they realize kobe didnt want to pass the ball cuz he wanted to be the MAN. dont get me wrong, kobes great. but to compare him to jordan is not even fair. there is no argument.

  • @tonychoitellem kobe - 5 rings lebron-0 end of story o yeah lebron = no 4th quarter.

  • @batistaru LOL, the only thing kobe riders are able to bring up at the end of an argument is rings. so im guessing robert horry is better then kobe?

  • @tonychoitellem R U stupid?

first finals MVP is what really matters and kobe had 2 lebron 0

second R U comparing kobe and horry roles in these championships?

kobe was the team 1ST option in the perimeter while horry was a player who scored -10PPG

btw horry 00-02 played a better role than lebron did this finals, if horry was in the heat instead of LEtravel they would've won a ring by now.

    MJ is the GOAT

Kobe top10 of all time & top 5(maybe top2)perimeter player of all time

    lechoke is just top 50

  • @lixmxil93 plz name ur top 10 LOL

  • @tonychoitellem lol i can name my top 49 and i can tell you lebron is not in the list xD

  • @lixmxil93 so what exactly did kobe do in the 09 & 10 POs dat lebron didnt? lebron bested him in almost every stat by a wide margin. u cant expect some1 to win wen the 2nd best player on ur team (mo williams) averaged 15 pts off of 40% shooting. lebron choked in the finals this yr bad but at least he averaged 18 7 7 shooting 48% while kobe avged 28 7 4 off of 40% shooting. neither shud b considered clutch. but at least kobe tried.

  • @tonychoitellem what kobe did in 09-10 well... KOBE WON 2 RINGS while lebron wants to have better stats LOL

  • @jeddocampo11 look at the cavs team those 2 yrs compared to the lakers.

  • @jeddocampo11 Kobe would have NO CHANCE at a ring playing in Cleveland!

  • @lixmxil93 Kobe is top Ten GUARDS of all time, its impossible to compare players, since the role of a center differs greatly from the role of a guard.

  • @batistaru : so who's better? cuz saying " kobe -5 rings lebron -0" doesn't prove anything.

  • @imsljr420 It proves LB hasn't a title dickhead

  • @1PedroAmor : ok so who's better kobe or lebron?

  • @tonychoitellem kobe had the worst finals MVP, and lebron had the worst finals NOT mvp lol.

  • @tonychoitellem kobe is definitely way overrated historically by the media and his fan, but not top 10 rite now? ill list the players i think u can make a case for being better than kobe. lebron, wade, melo, durant, howard, , and rose. lebron wade and howard to me aren't even debateable, i'd rather have any of those 3 than kobe. but name 10 players u'd rather have than kobe

  • @koalalauncher wtf? how the fuck is melo better then kobe at all? btw i meant kobe isnt top 10 all time right now at this point of his career...

  • i said u could make a case for, not is definitely better. and i thought u meant top 10 rite now my bad. but why can't someone make a case for melo? he scores more and rebounds more and shoots a better percentage. his defense leaves a lot to be desired, but some would say as a whole carmelo may be a more dominant player rite now. i disagree with that, but i see the arguement. im not talking about the kobe of 4-5 years ago who's way better. all the guys i mentioned u can make the case for

  • @koalalauncher o ya definitely, but melo actually shoots a lower % then kobe. of course he rebs more cuz hes a small forward that almost never distributes the ball so of course hes patrolling the paint.

  • @tonychoitellem not this year. it's only like 1% better so i'm stretching a bit lol. and ya, he's bigger and stronger so he should definitely rebound more, but you still have to take that in consideration, just like you have to take kobe's playmaking and assists into consideration. i think next year carmelo is gonna take the next step and reinsert himself as a top 5 player in the league. at least i hope he does, he's gotta play some d

  • @koalalauncher true, but i think hes gotta get in better shape first. he doesnt have enough energy to play d. im pretty sure melo will never touch kobes legacy cuz hes already been in the league 7 yrs. hes definitely a force of offense but to be on kobe, lebron and dwades lvl he has a long way to go. first, he has to shoot a higher % and stop getting blocked...

  • @tonychoitellem absolutely. it sucks cause i honestly think that carmelo has the best offensive repertoire in the league as far as being able to shoot, dribble, pull up shots, post up, etc., and he's 6'9 230. he should average 30ppg at 50% shooting easily imo. and ya, legacy wise unless he makes serious changes to his approach to the game and mentality, he won't touch kobe. never ever. carmelo may go down as one of those guys like tmac and carter who never realize their full potential

  • @tonychoitellem u saying the only reason kobes fg % was low in the series was because he shot bad in game 7 is like me saying the only reason kobe averaged 8 rebs was because he grabbed 15 in game 7

  • @tonychoitellem and when did lebron toke over a series? in 2011 dallas series right?

  • @lixmxil93 and wen did kobe take over a series?

  • @tonychoitellem 2009 and 2010 whole playoffs. and u did answer my question.......
