if you don't appreciate history and quality built items and/or you're broke, you're probably going to talk shit about this gun. this isn't a firearm for a survivalist, prepper, white trash, ect. even as a prepper i normally wouldn't spend my money on this. but since i did, let me tell you i love it. i notice many negative comments and as i hold it in my hands i can only think how fucking stupid the comments sound. if you don't have the money, don't buy it and don't talk shit about it.

@Ironhand103 both, i probably shouldn't have fired it but i don't believe in owning shit i can only look at. 600 dollars for mine and i'm not dissapointed one bit. for a collector, this is quality! if you are like me, you will love shooting it as much as owning it! i don't fire it that often and only have a small interest in muzzle loaders but i will drag this out before the white mountain carbine any day. it's accuracy is what you would expect of a gun this size and with a smooth bore.

Thats really cool. If you are on a battlefield this could be really effective usage. It deceives you'r opponent to think that it's no more than a silly knife, then suddenly it fires bullets. BANG!

@adamyoshi if you owned one, you would understand why he keeps playing with it. the only thing i can compare the feel to is a ww2 rifle- pick your favorite ww2 rifle that you have held and thats what its comparable to. i am proud to say i had to pay for mine to. i wouldnt have normally owned a gun like this but im not dissapointed since i bought it. mine is a low number and was built by a friend who no longer works for merriman, i didnt ask for a "deal", especially after i felt the sample.

i shot mine as soon as i got it! screw the faggy white gloves! seriously, this is a great gun. if you have cash to wipe your ass with, this is an awsome gun to collect. unsurpassed quality, very accurate for what it is and neat as hell to shot and discuss while you handle it in awe. i love mine but the only reason i bought it really is because my buddy helped build them.
