Hi there, Acrylic glitter??? I haven't heard of that before... I used Martha Stewart glitter, so I can't really answer that. Let me know how it works.

Hi dear, It does work! The floor polish is sooooo super sticky, it acts like a super clear glue. Mine were in perfect condition even this year & super easy to make. Good luck...

@secondhandshoes Hi Dear, Thanks for watching, as afar as personlizing your ornament ~ you could use stickers, vinyl ( cut letter out w/your Cricut if you have one) or use rub-on's. I prefer rub-on's & use them all the time. Another idea, use a glue pen to write letter & then add a different color glitter. I hope that helps, let me know how they turn out~

Thank you so much for posting this! I saw the idea somewhere last week and thought it was so cute! So I bought all the ornaments at Michael's and when it came down to buying reinker I was so bummed. Long story short, I almost gave up on this idea of glitter ornaments due to the price until I saw your video!

@monvasqu Hi dear... I agree, Pledge is very affordable... I don't know if it is toxic or flammable. Good question though, but I don't have an answer for you. I'll let you know if I hear anything on the subject. Thanks for sharing your thoughts...

Just an FYI. I used the new plastic ornament balls that is sold at Michaels. Looks just like the glass ones (sold right next to them too) and this idea works with the plastic balls also. I have little ones and wanted them to do this project. Loved this idea and I'm glad you shared it with us.

Hi dear, I didn't wait ong at all for them to dry. I place the cap back on immediately, but I am sure 15 minutees would do the trick. good Luck, you will love them!

Ok, now that it's been several months since you made that ornament, does the glitter stay in place all year long? I'm afraid once I pack my ornaments away, the floor wax and glitter will settle to the bottom of the ornament. Let me know! Thanks so much!!!

Hi Gale, Question for you. Have you tried using a really fine white glitter with the pledge? This year I am going to tr y this, and make some with the ulta fine white glitter to make "snowy" like ones.

Did you notice any difference as far as glitter flaking off the inside when using the Pledge vs the ink? I am going to try the pledge and just want to make sure the glitter is staying on the inside after a few days/weeks etc. Thanks!!

@xrockchild Yes, I did use fine/white glitter & it worked great! I saw no difference between the ornaments that I used re-inkers vs. using the Pledge. The re-inkers took forever to move around & I am totaly hooked on the Pledge! I hope that helps you out...

@galecrafts Im a boy, but thats okay! Theres always a first. :) This worked btw! There is a local holiday store here that is year round and they sell some iridescent ornaments. Not exactly clear, but I wanted to try it anyway. It works very well!! I am rather shocked! I am looking forward to the holidays this year so I can make all kinds of cool stuff with them! Hi butterflyamanda! This is sooo awesome and amazingly quick to do. I am glad it really worked and I don't have to use up all my re-inkers. Not to mention the time it saved.

I was worried about the reinker cost too! I wonder if you could take some Elmer's glue, water it down, and do the same thing. I'll try that and let you know! - That would be even cheaper yet!

Hi Candledamachine, Great idea! I hope it works, I agree, it would be even less exspensive and hopefully it will work. I used a clear Martha Stewart glue in one and it clumped and didn't dry properly.
