It sells itself. Just be sure a humble seller is in charge, someone that understands all levels of selling, from the old lady selling her possessions, all the way up to the power sellers. I truly believe the little sellers were the ones that made ebay work. An Army of individuals, not a group of corporate junk sellers.

i had someone who claimed an item i sold them doesnt work (i know for a fact it does work) and now theyre sniffing around for their money back. thats even worse than having an unpaid item. all i can do is clear the money from my paypal account, tell paypal shes/he's a lying bastard, and put auctions on hold till it blows over. if ebay takes the buyers side, i will close my ebay and paypal account. if i get a negative strike i will be pissed.
Everytime you relist an item, you end up paying eBay listing fees. so you're basically losing profits at the end. That's good for ebay but, not for sellers.

Paypal you get funds immediatly in most cases or Held for 30 Days occasionally. However other payment options Hold your funds ALWAYS and its for 40-60 Days in most cases.(Like EPal Read fine print)

I use both Craig's and Ebay. I have found a way to have most of my traffic come from craiglist in every state and outside the country. It's very simple to run yet somewhat complex in operation. I have also mailed out items once a payment has been received to people around the world and in the US. I use ebay to sell smaller cheaper items. Yes it is possilble to live without ebay but is till chose to sell there because of good traffic.

Just lost my job so unable to afford to keep my car so I sold it on eBay (In the UK).
It cost me £8 to list the car and eBay took £20 Final Value Fee.
