@zimbob68 there is no pollination. cannabis plants are dioecious, meaning that there are male and female plants. if a male plant, which contains the pollen were to pollinate the females, which have the bud, the plants would goto seed.

The aerogarden is only good for germinating or cloning but for growing large plants, it's impractical. You can top the plant early to keep it short but it won't stop the plant from getting root bound in 2-3 months from seed. There is only enough room for 1 small-medium sized plant. Also the lighting is weak = 3x 26watt full spectrum cfl. If you're not using autoflowers u can set the aerogarden to 24hr period using advanced settings then the light to go off at the time u want. In 24hr setting th

Please can anybody tell me how high you can extend the light. I read 21 inches someplace but is that from the base of the A.. unit or is that from the platform the plant is growing from. i want to grow sunflower seeds in it and am worried my plants will outgrow the unit. Munchand mindys looked tall enough but I was hopeing she had not used any guerilla DIY to get it to extend that high. ie I dont want to be messing with electrics. induction lamps have been around for over 100 years. theyused to be too expensive but the prices have come down alot. The 100 watt is perfect for clone and veg and the tent grows I add asecond one. They produce UV and IR levels so the PAR hits right at 300 and 700 nanometers from just one lamp. There's alot of lighting engineering talk that my BF gets really involved with but ck at the INDAGRO video on you tube and they also have grow pics on their site. very little heat they rock

To get some nice buds you need higher lumens then a CFL or florescent can produce. induction grow lights are like 3 x higher lumen per watt and one fixture can run from veg to bud while they produce very little heat. babies can grow right up to them with no damage. theres a video on youtube for indagro that's pretty informative and the website has grow pics.
