They can even contradict themselves in court by offering multiple theories for the same case (all of which could be false)...and still win a jury verdict. The "kitchen sink" defense often works. I'm gonna be honest, if you look past the "wanting" of her to be found guilty, a lot of the evidence was circumstantial. I am not defending anybody here, but the smell in the car couldn't be proven, no DNA linked to the duck tape or trash bag could be found, so there actually wasn't anything thing that pointed directly to her, if I was a juror, I probably would have come to the same conclusion these jurors did... my opinion though...

I'm gonna be honest, if you look past the "wanting" of her to be found guilty, a lot of the evidence was circumstantial. I am not defending anybody here, but the smell in the car couldn't be proven, no DNA linked to the duck tape or trash bag could be found, so there actually wasn't anything thing that pointed directly to her, if I was a juror, I probably would have come to the same conclusion these jurors did... my opinion though...

While I am not a fan of Casey I AGREE with the jury. The prosecution did not show any convincing proof of how her daughter was killed. At best they connected a few dots. Obviously Caseys family is dysfunctional, and she is a sick person, psychologically. I'm not convinced that she did it. However I am convinced that she knows what happened.
