  • Enron demonstrates what is wrong with all companies today... What is that you ask? Look at Enron's company values: "communication, respect, integrity, excellence" and the results of what their human resources division recruited: people who's values were: "greed, incompetence, cover up, malevolence" and before anyone tries to excuse Enron for what they did, keep in mind that the fraud was so prevalent and so extensive, that despite the fact it was incredibly obvious, no one there reported it.

  • There were so MANY crimes at ENRON and so many criminals and only two received a real conviction for a few of them and one of those faked his death to avoid punishment and his wife got to keep over a hundred million dollars of employee and shareholder money. My only question is WHY didn't the government use the RICO statutes against ORGANIZED CRIME to prosecute the crooks at ENRON. They were highly criminal and very organized in their crimes. These were NOT crimes of passion but crimes of PRIDE.

  • It was a huge cocaine party!

  • Yes, that is criminal Jeff Skilling narrating the video.

  • Dubyas connections with Enron and make California bend over and not stopping Enron from raping them with high power costs makes what Tricky Dick did look like nothing.

Shows how dumb Rush Limbuah is when he continues to defend these clowns.

  • Enron--touting their transparency!

  • well Sh'eet, if they actually did office work instead of standing on their desks all day they might have actually been a useful company.

  • Why did Enron purchase the naming rights to the Houston Astros brand new ballpark for $100 million for 30 years when they all knew they didn't have the money for that??? I remember "Enron Field" lol. I also remember the less humorous Kenneth Lay endorsing Dubya for President and donating tons of money to his campaign, and being a close family friend.

  • @vaibanez17 Because ENRON's NUMBER ONE political support and supporter like baseball. I personally heard Ken Lay brag of raising $110 million for BUSH in 2000 and Drayton McLean searching for money being so happy when Lay announced buying the naming rights. Lay wanted a place to take his buddy when he came to Houston to visit ENRON and his father.

  • I can't take this commercial seriously.

  • Smug sob if you ask me. Enron online, one of many failures from enron. And the commercial makes no sense (but most commercials from the 90s had that issue) people yelling and standing on desks. Hmmmmm

  • ASK WHY - EMISSIONS TRADING?

  • did he say " change the markets for many many 'tamales' " ? LOL

  • Get off the table Enrique just finish cleaning it!!!

  • Enron Online was a brilliant idea, which started off incredibly...then we all found out what Enron had really been getting up to and just how much they had been breaking the rules.

  • The three blind mice asking why and being quite innovative. Awesome company!

  • lol @ the 3 blind mice

  • Creepy!

  • Enron - "Your change. We has it."

  • And in the end, it was investors, employees, and others who lost fortunes who were left asking "why why why?"

  • Why...did Enron ruin my retirement fund?

  • Why...did you invest in a company that refused to produce a balance sheet with its earning statement? Why...did you not diversify your retirement portfolio?

  • Why...did you think I was serious?

  • @gregarious24 Why.....didn't you diversify?

  • I just love the way these guys talk. They were so perfect for their time. Bullshit, bullshit and bullshit some more, and all the phoneybaloney suits just lap it up. Kind of reminds me of the way America is borrowing trillions of dollars from potentially hostile nations while pretending everything is Dubya Okey Dokey. Enron will probably end up foreshadowing what will happen to the entire nation. If America's creditors ever call the loans in, we're looking at a Texas sized mess of shit.

  • hey friend, welcome to reagonomics. this is precisely what the "conservative" folks of this country envisioned. zero regulation so people like these could make out like bandits. if enron was just barely fallling right now, they would get bailed out!!! the finacial accountabilit of this country scare the shit out of me!!!

... and i am just a finance student!!!

  • I have no idea what is being advertised here.

  • They are advertising Enron online, a service that allowed energy traders to use the Internet for trading rather than the then-normal method of using the telephone.

  • assholes

  • Skilling and Lay are very good public speakers

  • My uncle worked for Enron...This company could have been amazing if it wasnt fucked up and sucked dry by curruption... :(

  • My uncle also worked for Enron he get fired a month before bankruptcy. Right now he work for Texas Electric Company.

  • Enruin would have been a more appropriate name for these hasbeens. And the 'blind' people that Skilling must have been referring to in the commercial were the poor clods who invested everything in the company's 401K. What a wash!

  • The only thing I knew about Enron back then was they had a stadium named after them that allowed 10 run games every week.

  • Enron should have changed its name to Valujet.

  • My mother lost so much money when enron went bankrupt.

  • These. commercials. are so. WEIRD!

  • Why?

  • they got too arrogant. that's how they went down.

  • Incidentally, the voice over is Jeff Skilling himself.

  • Ask why, asshole.

  • Corporate fraud is cool!

  • wry? wry? wry?

    Ah, the good old days.
