  • this is an old rebetiko from 1936, composed apparently by K. Karipis and sung by Roza Eskenazy (nothing that the links on the right cant tell you). This balkano-yiddish version + experimental part sounds way better than any sad copies the modern greek musicians try to make, the spirit is here in this one...

  • The title and lyrics are greek!! I am greek and her pronunciation is so bad i can't listen to it.

  • @mertzanakia ahahahaha!! the truth is that her pronunciation is very funny...(I'm greek too) I can't listen to it either, but it's a nice try i think.

  • @catlilapause at a spanish song on the same album, a spanish guy can't listen to it neither!

  • @mertzanakia Spanish people have different dialects. Ladino is a specific dialect used by the Sephardic Israelites (those who migrated to Portugal and Spain) and their descendants. By the way i'm Portuguese and i speak Spanish. They hardly understand Portuguese though. Most of them suck at foreign languages (just like the French).
