It's a sin to give in to temptation. It's one thing to be born with a preference, it's another to ACT upon it. The Bible doesn't say being gay is a sin, it says sexual acts with someone of the same gender is. So is sex with anyone/thing you aren't married to.

Why take it upon oneself to worry about everyone else's life? Man cannot take God's role. Wasting unnecessary attention on them while they move on in their lives thinking about anything else in the world/. This should apply to anything you do in life... dwelling on an argument with someone dampens not only your mood but takes a toll on health. Glad all is well is Waise's world! @Pika163 Hi there. Romans 1:18-32 talks about gay sex along with other sins we should not do. The Bible doesn't say it's a sin to be tempted, if that were the case, Jesus would be a sinner. It's a sin to give in to temptation. It's one thing to be born with a preference, it's another to ACT upon it. The Bible doesn't say being gay is a sin, it says sexual acts with someone of the same gender is. So is sex with anyone/thing you aren't married to.

The Bible is clear that our flesh has a "sinful nature". Many things that feel natural to us aren't good for us. Jesus died for our sins so we are free from the law. We no longer have to live according to a list of rules. Because of our love for Christ we now seek relationship w/God & our walk is new. Loved this! I feel the EXACT same way. One of my problems was if everyone was supposed to be made in God's image, why would he make people gay if he "hated" gays? I also didn't understand the idea that good people would "go to hell" just because they are gay, but a man who goes to church but is still a total douche canoe (cheating, stealing, ect).
