I'm mixed, and my dad's family, who are black, really don't like me at all. At least, when I was a little girl they didn't. My own grandmother said that I was "too light to love." It has cause some very severe psychological problems, and if you think that discrimination is bad, imagine being in the middle.

I seldom like Lifetime Movies, or "tv" movies as I call them, because they are so predictable, and made for commercial breaks. Often, every scene is just a few seconds long, nothing gets developed and they are just plain boring in the end. However, this movie is a rare exception.  It's really good, and it's nice to see some fresher faces, if you will, on the screen. We need more movies for tv that don't feel like they are for tv...lol. :)

It is based on this young woman who fell in love with a married man who is black and they are in love and he get's her pregnant but then he get's really mad at her and threaten's her for sole custody of thier child
