MY LITTLE BROTHER GOT ONE FOR XMAS THIS YEAR, BRAND NEW!first of all when he opened the special edition box it didnt come with a connection wire! so he was really upset and it hurt me to see him so sad, so my mom went to go return it, and when she returned it, apparently they ran out of stock, and my mom searched everywhere to get another xbox, my bro gets his new xbox he is happy, then it gets ring of death! so we got another one for him.... fuck xbox!

it doesnt reset itself. the solder reheats itself and heats to a point that it goes soft and remoulds. im not saying it is safe but stilll.. it doesnt reset anything,

i watched a different video and i took my box apart and everything

now when my xbox turns on it has three red ligths blinking

then after a few seconds it turns to 2 red blinking lights

the 3 red lights mean you have a hardware issue. and the 2 red lights mean your system is overheating. try the xclamp fix(found on internet) and make sure not to damage anything inside if you havn't already. a damaged board will also give you 3 red lights.

all the towels do is overheat the xbox in an attempt to heat up the solder joints inside making a better connection. a more pemanent fix would be to fix the bad solder points yourself, i have went around with a solder gun and heated up the joints with success before. also if you blow your proccessor by wrapping it in towels you'll never get it to work.
