i have a question, was this ever released on vinyl in Egypt??

  • @gogolito This soundtrack was used in a very famous program back in the last of 70's, 80's and the 90's almost every one in egypt were watching this program because it was the only source to watch international movies, american, indian, etc. Remeber there was no satellite back then :) oh good old days.

Thnks very much for the uploader for bringing me back.

  • @gogolito Back in the day in the early 90s we had only way to watch western motion pictures, it was a weekly program called "Cinema Club" and this was used as the opening theme for it.... so it has a very deep nostalgic memory amongst young Egyptians who used to curl up in the evenings to watch movies :).. thx for sharing

  • @gogolito

First, thank you a lot for uploading this music. It brings a lot of memories :)

Second, It was the intro music for a very famous TV program called Cinema Club on the Egyptian State TV in the 80s. Of course, almost all the Egyptian people who had TV sets at that time know the program and its music.

  • @gogolito In Egypt we are having a TV show called "Nady Al Cinema" which mean The Cinema Club.

Anyway, since 1978, the show opening was using this soundtrack. Nowadays the show opening music has been changed but we still remember this awesome soundtrack.

Here you are The Cinema Club TV show opening with Arabic Calligraphy, made in 1978: watch?v=TbdEtBT3Euc

  • @gogolito

hello man ..thanx for the great memories u gave to me ..

  • @gogolito this music was used as an intro for a very famous egyptian tv program named "nady essinema" or "cinema club", but it's history now

  • @gogolito it was used as the opening music of an old famous Egyptian program called " Cinema Club"; used to show a different new movie every week, almost everyone used to watch it back at the 90s'.

  • @gogolito It's because this track was featured in the opening credits of a very popular TV show in Egypt in the 90's.

  • @gogolito Yes, it was on a very popular show back in the 80's

  • @gogolito its funny, no it was not released on vinyl,TV actually, look bro, back in time when fans requested movies on tv shows by "postal mail" and land line phones were considered a luxury, a favorite tv show that offered an award winning movie every Saturday night, had this music playing in the background and on the intro, because it was a good show, a lot of people liked and remembered the music.. but she never said name of song on the show.. and no internet too!! guess what, NOW THEY KNOW

  • @gogolito... the answer is that this music was the introduction of a famous weekly programe called the cinema club at saturday night this programe is specialist in international movies most of the egyptian & i one of them cultured them selfs in movie sector from this programe cos it talks about certain milf them we watch that film ...... greeting from egypt

  • @gogolito hahahaha well let me explain to u... back in the 90*s there were only 2 channels in the egyptian tv one of them used to have a very famous tv show *cinema club* and they used that track as an intro...

so for us it is a CLASSICAL Reminisce
