My piano teacher gets all mad when I use different fingerings and I see Jordan (one of the best in the world) with like a totally different fingering. Is there really a correct fingering for that first C chord he played?

@himl994 good fingering only matters if it affects your playing.. if you can pull it off with ease.. then use whatever fingering you WANT...

@himl994 I honestly don't think fingering on the keyboard matters at all if you are able to get to the same note you want to reach in the same amount of time and it feels better for you. Obviously teachers try to make you play perfect because it's their job. But Fingering isn't as important as people make it out to be.

@przwll my fingers go that fast, but it really hurts when they slam into the side of the keys. Also it hurts my ears because they hit the wrong notes.
