ONLY every 4-5 days?! That's too much! I'm a guy and I like a good tan.. I'm sick of having see-through skin haha, a bit of colour makes you look nice and healthy.. and occasional use of a tanning bed just to kickstart your tan is fine, especially if you're doing it just before you go on holiday somewhere.. but too much just makes you look like her... Like shit.

ummm there is a reason why your skin turns over so quickly. the "tan" you get actually just represents damage. so tanning is actually the act of damaging your skin.

Sorry if that wrankles with anyone, but when you grow up like I did in a part of the world known widely as "Melanoma Central", you get a bit like me after a while.

her skin color is horribly ugly. i like a good tan, when its gained from sun exposure. but these tannin beds only give you an oumpa-lumpa look and cancer/wrinkly skin to boot

Anyone realize the origin for the word tan? A tanner used to be someone who made leather from the hides of animals. Modern tanners are people who make leather out of their own skin by sitting out in the sun all day or by using tanning beds. Honestly, I can't believe this has caught on. People who tan have such gross, rough, and leathery skin. Why do this to yourself? Visually, it looks ugly too... My grad was full of oompa loompas with bleached teeth. Seriously freaky.
